About dTunes:
dTunes originally started as a blog in which I would showcase a new band every week. Soon, I moved on to themes. Every video was meant to be suggested by the community, the themes too. Unfortunately, my own personal tastes kept getting in the way. This time I intend to pick a community member from the Google Group that I made (send me your email if you want in) and let them post their favorite music for a week. By getting rid of the middle man (me) I intend on bringing to life my initial image of dTunes, a place where the community can enrich itself and create a better understanding on the individual members of the community by exploring their personal tastes.

Basically, I want to put the unity in community.

Today's my last day for my dTunes guest spot. Hopefully you all liked the music I brought you throughout the week. Big thanks to RonBurgandy for setting this up. Be sure to bug Ron if you want to do a guest dTunes yourselves!

Today I'm going to end my run at dTunes with pure awesomenss that is Powerglove. They're a heavy metal videogame cover band that do some of the best videogame covers I've ever heard. Great way to end the week!

Powerglove - Birth of a God

Powerglove - Red Wings Over Baron

Powerglove - Mute City

Powerglove - So Sexy Robotnik

Powerglove - Mortal Kombat for the Mortal Man

I have to say that I prefer Year 200X myself despite their timing problems. But Powerglove will do, sir. It'll do.

Also, I don't think they've done anything lately, and their recordings weren't of very high quality, but does anyone know of the many Mega Man covers done by a band called Project X? Best of all, they offered all of their stuff for free. Totally worth it if you love the Mega Man stuff, and who doesn't?

By the way, I'd totally be up for doing a week of these. I've got a ton of stuff that I could feature that I'm guessing would be pretty new to a lot of people. So, Ron, should I email you?

Dag yo! I'd most definitely be down like a clown for "hosting" dTunes for a week in the future and such! =D

Thanks Hamza, Powerglove rocks. Reminds me a lot of Game-Over or Game over or whatever that metal game coverband is called.
