You know who's fucking awesome in Skies of Arcadia and his cameo in Valkyria Chronicles?

Fuck yeah, VYSE! He had a bit part in Valkyria Chronicles, but he was still in my squad for every mission, because he's bad ass. So I finally got to the 13th episode of the Valkyria Chronicles, and wouldn't you know it, Vyse is right in the beginning of the episode. Fuck yeah! His squad is being sent into an Empire occupied town...

But the shit hits the fan because they have a crazy ass artillery weapon that uses carpet bombs... so ten minutes into the episode

NOOOOOOOOOOOOO!

@Jack Maverick, the last 4 episodes (11-14) have been twoparters, so she's been less of a factor in the episodes. Faldio did tell Welkin that he likes her and Welkin has been a bit moody and not himself I guess? I personally think its a stupid plot turn, but whatever.

Gurrel Lagann is FUCKING AWESOME. Best anime show in years. Episode 8 is a big WTF moment though. You'll understand when you get there.

This isn't really related to the main point here, but I just watched most of Gurren Lagann this past weekend. It blew my fucking mind. I haven't felt so bewildered and excited by an anime since FLCL, which is a huge compliment in my eyes. This series totally lived up to the hype, which almost never happens.

Covah, episode 8 was the first one I watched when I realized the SciFi channel started showing the series. Needless to say, that kinda sucked some of the impact out of the moment, but it was pretty intense anyway.

Don't worry, Vyse is just shocked that he could be wounded. He'll be back up in a minute. I mean really, how much abuse did a player put in through in Skies? He'll be fine.
