For a while now, I've been debating whether or not to drop the $90 on a copy of Wii Fit. And I've decided this: fuck it, I'm going to. Am I expecting to be entertained by Wii Fit as I would be any other game? No. Am I expecting to be pleasantly surprised? A bit.

I am also not expecting this to be the saving grace of my health. After the first year of college, before I even got home, I decided I needed to start working off those nights. In case you're wondering what those nights are, drink two 40s of Olde English, then try to walk around down town Boston trying to climb a giant head statue near the river. Yeah. I need to get back in shape is what I'm trying to say. I'm not fat or anything, I am just trying to get ahead of myself and deciding to take better care of myself now instead of later when it will be hard.

While I've been lifting and riding my bike, I am really curious to see how much Wii Fit will contribute to my work out regiment. Hell, I've been playing Wii Sports boxing for nearly a hour to use as a warm up. Like I said I'm not expecting Wii Fit to be the saving grace of my health, I just really want to try it out. Because lets face it, it will probably at least help and will be a good way of keeping track of shit.

I wanted to say I commend Nintendo for taking risks, but I'm not sure anything Nintendo does is a risk anymore. People are going to buy this, that is with out a doubt. And I will be waking up at 6:30 tomorrow morning to go to Walmart thanks to Gamestop stopping pre orders before I got home.
