Normally, I'd be skeptical about a whole list leaking, but after Rock Band II's list leaking, I'm more open minded about this. Not only do they have a lot of songs from the confirmed artists, but the name of the tours as well, which if fake I'd believe someone would of put them in the normal 5/6 set that Guitar Hero is known for instead of the new style of set list that World Tour has been confirmed to do. Also, if I counted correctly there are 85 actual songs (not counting the guitar battles) which is the total amount Neversoft said they'd have at E3. There's a lot of newer stuff, more so than I was expecting, but at the same time there's a lot of good older songs. Anyways, copy and paste from GoNintendo.

There you have it. If this is true, I'd be happy with the set list, and it makes me think that Guitar Hero World Tour just may beat out Rock Band 2. We'll have to see.
God damnit that is an epic song list. Too bad it's probably bogus. I would play the shit out of the "Undertow" tour.
Oh fuck me. If that was a real songlist, I would buy Guitar Hero 4, HANDS DOWN. It feels too good to be true.
But, lets just say its real. I will buy Guitar Hero 4 if that is the songlist
@MR Sadistic
Well like I said, its entirely possible that its true thanks to Rock Band 2's entire set list leaking. People doubted that and look what happened. Who knows. I really want it to be true.
Yea it seems weird that that they would go with 2-3 song tours so I'm thinking this is probably fake.
“One Armed Scissor” by At The Drive-In
OH FUCK.
If this is true then I'm buying GH:WT.
damn they countered all the cool rock band 2 songs... it all depends on the note charts.
96 Quite Bitter Beings by CKY and "Fury of the Storm" by Dragonforce = ridiculous win.
HOWEVER
Failure to add anything from Fair to Midland (specifically speaking since Dance of the Manatee was so fucking awesome and a pretty damn recently played hit song) is a completely EPIC FAIL.
How in the fuck? So many good songs.
Pretty fucking impressive.
A shame Neversoft couldn't write a proper note chart if their lives depended on it.
instant buy if this is real. Chuck Berry is godlike. And Jumpin' Jack Flash is too.
It is fake, how could you have a guitar battle with Sting. He's a bass player and there is a lack of female singers. Trust me the list is fake.
Also, their are no tiers, just gigs and they would not do things like that with the sample songs.
Also, Also, the Iron Maiden masters are in bad shape and can most likely not be used.
Definitely fake, apparently it is from 4 chan.
I hope this is fake. Not because I want Guitar Hero to fail, but because im done with Guitar Hero so I dont need shit like this tempting me.
Undertow tour, really? ::wets self::
I really hope Harmonix gives us the 20 DLC track-list soon....I am giving up the chance to play some kickass songs here because of my loyalty to Harmonix and good note charts.
dont toy with my emotions like that
total bs.

But, as much as it hurts to say, and it REALLY does hurt, this is definitely fake.

Not enough Hootie.
Aw, shit. I'm sad its fake. Fuck you, 4chan.
Damn, if this was real, I'd buy it in a heartbeat. SO many good songs there.
It's a decent set list, but I go with the other guy. Neversoft fucked up with GH3 on note charts and I don't trust them enough to risk it again. I'll stick with the people who know what they're doing.
The tracklist is too perfect, im calling shenanigans.
But if half of these songs are on it then it will be packed full of win.
Come on Neversoft and release a fucking tracklist, this rumour shit is bugging me.
dammit 4chan... and I was looking forward to Pull Me Under.
The 3 song "tours" didnt make much sense to me.
BTW @Aurvantoid: I would shit a brick if they put Fair to Midland on this game. Totally fucking win.
I don't know if it's real or fake. It may very well be fake, but there are a few songs on that list that I know for a fact are in the game and have yet to be announced. As far as there being no tiers, the game doesn't operate on a tier system any longer since they're introducing the "tour" mode to the game. So, there's that.
If this is true, I shall buy it.
I would rock the HELL out of Beat It, Johhny B. Goode, and Comfortably Numb.
If this is true I will cum all over this game on day 1.
Just give me a real guitar hero game with Jimmy Page, Clapton, Hendrix, SRV, Satriani, Malmsteen, Vai, B.B. King, Albert King, Buddy Guy, Wes Montgomery, Segovia, Terrega, Albert Collins, Freddie King, Jeff Beck, Eric Johnson, Duane Allman and then throw some CCR, The Beatles, AC/DC, Steve Miller Band and stuff along these lines.
GIVE ME ROCK DAMNIT!
Did I just see...Fury of the Storm?! ;o;
Oh God...yes...if this list is real though.
Alot of these songs are confirmed for Rock Band though. Also, it is confirmed that Joe Satriani is going to provide Satch Boogie and Surfing with the Alien in both Rock Band 2 AND GHWT. Also, if this list was real, the rumor of "Beat It" in GHWT would be confirmed. ALSO, it has also been confirmed that Tool will have a stage and entire section dedicated to them in the game. It's just that there is alot of songs on this list, in terms of artists, that are confirmed for GHWT that makes you wonder that if this list is real instead of fake. I remember when the GH3 set list was leaked and I thought it was fake...but in reality...it was the actual the setlist! Even down to the final battle with Lou.
So, I'm going to treat this list as a 50/50. ALOT of these songs are true (especially Dream Theater since they are confirmed for GHWT)...so there is a possibility that this maybe the actual setlist. Maybe. Who knows what can change between now and the future.
...I just hope that add Fury of the Storm...and dear God...Crazy Train. Fuck. Yes.
holy shit that list has is made of stuff i love. if they had sum 41 my head would asplode.
having Mana seems like too much, though, specially since they're not really GH-style musicians.. Panda would work better.
god damn it i know this has 95% possibilities of being fake but i fucking love the setlist
as a guitar hero game, this all makes perfect sense. as a party game with multiple instruments you have to be kidding me.
Well, assuming that's real, it seals the deal for me: Rock Band 2 it is. There is some great stuff on that list but Rock Band 2 has more of the kinda stuff I want to play.
Or maybe I should get both, just so I can play Comfortably Numb.

This certainly looks good, if it were true, so I suppose I'll get it, though not right at launch. I'll be short on money as I save up for a semester in Japan, so when it comes down to pouring more money into Rock Band 2 and its DLC or a whole new game, I think I'll stick with Rock Band 2. Maybe once I get back next June, I'll check it out.
Damn it, stop making it so hard for me to choose one!
so i know this is a noob question but.. are the rock band instruments compatible with this? i doubt it but a man can dream righT?
OK so the beginning of the list was pretty f@ckin weak (seriously Mr.Brightside??? WTF!?) but after that I just started to orgasm uncontrollably for hours
god damn it i should've read power-glove's comment before getting my hopes up
Heaven and Hell.
Master of Puppets.
Hallowed be thy Name.
FUCK YES!
At The Drive-In
Dream Theatre
Joe Satriani
Consider me excited.
If this is real, just to be able to play beat it would be worth it enough
