With Soul Calibur IV's street date broken people came to find a character they couldn't figure out how to unlock. This character was in between Yoda/Vader and The Apprentice. Some (idiot) forum goers thought this character could be another Star Wars character like Darth Maul (WHY?! who would want that?) or some other unknown Star Wars character. Me on the other hand had to hold myself back from saying "its obviously Darth Vader/Yoda for DLC you fucking idiots" because lets be honest, with games like the iDolm@ster and Ace Combat 6, NamcoBandai doesn't miss an opportunity for DLC. Well, I don't know where GamersReports got them, but they've put up screen shots from the Xbox 360 version of the game pitting Yoda against Vader. Obvious DLC confirmed. The site says they don't know when (obviously) or if it will even happen (which is a stupid fucking thing to say being they have the god damn screenshots of it) Well, thats done and done. Vader will be 360 DLC and Yoda will be PS3 DLC. I'm willing to bet Vader and Yoda are both on each version of the game, you just have to unlock the key from the respective online store. Among other SCIV DLC news, Famitsu showed the first costume DLC that will come out soon. Personally, I'll be buying every bit that comes out. link
I thought the apprentice (not Donald Trump) from The Force Unleashed was in the game. That is what all the forums seemed to be saying, at least. Or is he still in?
I was looking around on the soulcaliburuniverse.com forums for info,when i found a thread about the secret character being yoda/vader as you said.However they say that the character will be unlocked with a save game file from the force unleashed....It doesent sound too far out if you consider theres a trailer for TFU in the soul calibur 4s theatre mode.
Btw i will be getting the PS3 version purely because i dont want to face yoda. Apparently hes a cheap noob character (green eddie gordo perhaps).Most of your attacks go over his head and most of his involve jumping all over the place and stabbing your feet.So really i wont give a crap if hes not unlockable on ps3.

That certainly seems possible but I bet it will be for download aswell because not everyone is going to want to pay $60 just for Vader/Yoda.

Not everyone is going to want to play The Force Unleashed though, but they're going to want to have as much Soul Calibur IV as they can get. Me, I'm buying it anyways and quite honestly if it does come out as DLC before I beat the force unleashed, I'll buy it.
If it's shooped, it's good. It looks legit to me. Also, why screw the 360 owners with only 'lil yoda over there? If there's money to be made, it'll be made.
Also, as far as DLC goes Namco stated that Vader/Yoda would possibly be downloadable on either console later on, but had also stated that they didn't plan on when. So, I don't think that GamersReports "update" has anything to do with anything Namco recently said.
I would just like to point out it's exactly a difficult photoshop to pull off and people had already cried FAKE hours ago.

I'm happy about the DLC. got a 360, but I like Vader alot.
But.
What I really want (I don't know if its been revealed)
. . . Soul Calibur characters with light saberized weapons.
Sueng Mina, Ivy, Voldo . . . how cool would that be.

Well if the force unleashed is a good game then the free dlc for SC4 will be a welcome surprise.But i agree they probably would do both tho.
