Oh Wolverine, what did you think you were doing? A movie game that is made of good? BLASPHEMY! What the hell did Raven think they were doing? Cocky assholes!

Well, after that demonstration of "quality" the fine people at Grin have taken it upon themselves to return the sub-genre of movie tie in games to their rightful place, PIECES OF SHIT! The way they should be!

After the Velvet Assassin review I can only imagine how bad Dtoids review of Terminator Salvation will be if they actually review it. Because... this game is just a piece of shit. Lets see how Grin returned movie games to their rightful glory.

First off, the game is probably shorter than the damn movie. I got the game from gamefly today and I'm done. Sending it back tomorrow. Beat it... finished... one sitting. 9 Levels of just dull fire fights. The real reason why i got this game from gamefly was just a bunch of easy ass trophies. Each level is a gold trophy, another gold for medium, one for hard, and a plat for everything. My original plan was to do everything on hard to get an easy 100% Then... the second issue came

While this game isn't hard, its just frustrating as all hell. It's a glitch fest. It took me 45 minutes to get past the second level because at the same point the fucking one spiderbot I needed to kill to continue would get glitched out in a wall and I couldn't reach the one place you can shoot them to kill em. Then I finally get to the 4th level where at the same place the game would freeze and I'd have to do a hard reboot. That combined with the fact that the T-600's RAPE you just made me put the game on medium and burn through the rest of it.

There are only a hand full of enemies in the game and suitably the T-600s are the only ones that give you problems. if you're not in cover, you're raped. If you don't have some sort of explosion, you're raped... if you're IN cover, they walk up to you and donkey punch you in an instant kill. While I was playing the game on hard, the first time you fight the T-600s there are three of them, and the only good explosives that I had were pipe bombs... but there were only five, and each T-600 took 3 to kill... do the math. I only got lucky being that I exploited the stupid ass AI and was lucky they didn't see me so I just started unloading into them with an MG.

Speaking of the AI... fucking stupid. Your team mates are god damn useless. Half the time they don't even shoot or distract enemies... they fucking suck.

Then there are the on rails segments. Guess what? They suck. Half the time if I had machine guns I couldn't even tell if my guns were firing, then when they were, they overheated within 2 seconds it seemed. There was one where you had to fend off the Terminatorbikes from a jeep but the screen shakes so god damn much that you can barely aim to hit the nimble bikes who weave in and out of cover within cars.

The ONLY good thing about the game is the cover system. When it works, it is very fluid, but a lot of the time, for some reason you just can't get into cover at all. But the system of switching cover is very nice. You point the stick and a series of segments on a HUD comes up signifying all the possible points of cover to go to, you pick one, and confirm then you're sliding to new cover. It's very fluid and very well done... too bad the game is shit.

The only reason to play this game really is for easy achievements/trophies. There is nothing redeeming about it, if you pay money for this game...
