I just saw this link on 4chan. If there are new characters we almost assuredly get them as DLC. It would unbalance the game online if they didn't.

I'm so excited about this announcement. I will re-buy BLazBlue if I have to. As long as they update a couple characters and tone down NU, I'd be pleased as punch. I also really want to know who the new characters are, although I suspect it might be Makoto and the girl with pink hair. And Hazaman. He'd be great. I just hope the new characters are full fledged, and not just clones.

@Magnalon: I doubt we get an edge. I can almost guarantee you that this will be DLC or something for the rest of the world eventually. even if it's not, Europe won't be able to play online with people with the NTSC version because of the moves and characters existing in one version and not the other making interaction between the two impossible.

why, why, why do people get all whiny when Europe gets something fancy? we don't even have the game yet, and this isn't the first time something like this has happened!

I just remember an old IGN letters page when some fuck was moaning that Europe got a Metroid Prime themed Gamecube and how outrageous it was that they got special treatment.

I doubt they will add new moves to anyone but the new characters. It's just marketing speak to make it sound like more content.

SPOILER: THE NEW CHARACTERS AND MOVES WILL BE DLC UPDATES IN THE OTHER VERSIONS. Unless they would make it so European version can only play with other Europeans. That would suck. Let's hope Jubei and Hazama become playable characters.
