Long hyped (for some reason) Original Nintendo IP Wii game "Disaster: Day of Crisis" has apparently been officially delayed to whenever the fuck Nintendo feels like it, if anything.
This site is reporting that a Japanese press release from Nintendo has moved Disaster's Japanese release from July 08, to TBA.
This isn't a good sign. I just as much as anyone want to see new IPs from Nintendo that are actual games instead of sports or casual games. And this seemed to be one of the last hopes. Hopefully Kid Icarus will be revived. But that being said, here's the status of the mythological Wii titles
Project Hammer: dead
Disaster - Day of Crisis: probably dead
Sadness: ...HAHAHAHAHAHAHA, that concept art isn't a game!
good job nintendo, let me guess, it wasn't casual enough?
or it didnt have enough mario in it?
perhaps, super mario world: day of crisis? would suit you better?
I thought Disaster officially became vapourware on its last delay about 5 months ago.
If they were still seriously planning it, instead of listing it as TBA they would of put a quarter in which usually happens for big delays.
Lessee:
1.) Zelda
2.) Metroid
3.) Mario
4.) Smash Bros.
5.) Mario Kart
All that's left is to do the unthinkable: Pilotwings.
And the world will weep with joy.
