Hmm, where am I right now? Virginia... yep, that's right. Where does KoF 98' UM for XBLA think I am? About 9749 miles off. Yean SNK Playmore, I'm not in Japan, you guys know that right?

Now, I've gotten on the case of lazy developers not translating correctly, my most memorable is Natsume's butchering of their own name in Harvest Moon 64, but to just flat out NOT translate something, that i the peak of lazy ass syndrome. It's like who ever at the SNK HQ who was porting this game to XBLA just thought "nah, fuck that" and went to jerk off some where.

On top of that the game is apparently missing some graphical effects that were present in the PS2 version, like 3D backgrounds, but quite honestly I can deal with that, but to just not translate your fucking game? How the hell does this pass Microsoft's certification? You'd think one of the points to check off is if the game is in the correct fucking language.

So thank god SNK Playmore isn't in charge of KoF XII outside of Japan, because lord knows how hard they'd butcher that.

Overall the game is great fun, and a lot more challenging than I remember 98 being, though I haven't ever played UM.
