Final Fantasy Like You've Never Heard It Before

Say what you will about the Final Fantasy series, there's one thing you can't deny. It has some beautiful fucking music. Under the guidance of Uematsu Nobuo, Final Fantasy soundtracks have been revered as some of the best in the gaming world. Which means that this forthcoming piece of news is no surprise. A Final Fantasy remix album, aptly named Final Fantasy Remix, is being released on August 6th. No word on the exact track listing yet, but it will contain music from the NES era up through the Playstation era. Retail price will be 2500 yen, or approximately 23 bucks for us Westerners. Also, the cover burns my eyes.

Well just trying to read that text at the top, all I see is a ton of copy write crap about final fantasy XI, so odds are at least one track is from it, seems there is xbox 360 copy write stuff there as well though which is quite odd.

Man, they really need to change that cover. That said, I've heard it's piano-only. I'm not big on Piano-only remixes- it lends itself to certain songs, yes, but not a huge number of them.
