And really, is black all that bad?! Just because this is a site that about all color all the time doesn't mean it can't be sponsored by the absence of color.
Grow up guys. The world works on the full spectrum of color and non-color, despite your idealistic, presence of all color notions.

Let's not think of this as 'selling out' to black™, think of it as 'cashing in' for black™ and passing on the savings to YOU, the consumer™. As a self appointed spokesperson to black™, I assure you that there, is in no way, going to be a hostile takeover of the color spectru- Uhhh, Niero, we need to talk, there's some green surrounding the comment box, this is breach of contract.
( they actually calculated once that if google were to have a black background, it would save enough electricity to power a mid-sized american town :-D )
or maybe on of the less used colors like mauve or burnt sienna maybe even teal.
Also, Coonskin should be applauded for doing such a good job of investigative journalism.
