this is what makes me like Sony the least. The fact that they aren't honest, and they aren't even good liars. They could just tell the truth and admit they fucked up. Or they could actually be good at lieing so we didn't catch them every time they did it.
That second picture is hilarious. I can feel his utter disregard for Sony's fanbase all the way from November 17, 2006.
Bump
bump
There seems to be a huge lack of commmunication between representatives of Sony, thus resulting in someone having egg on their faces on a monthly basis.
another controller CJ can break yaay.
Sony is a great company, don't get me wrong, but the way they advertise and lie to their fanbase exudes arrogance... it makes me angry, and I think if they just owned up to their own faults and deficiencies once in a while, they would probably be an even better company than they already are.
bumpppuuu
bummmmpp
It's been awhile since a sony exec has said something stupid, I was starting to get worried.
The comments made me lol
Sny needs to either not lie or be extraordinarily good at lying
@ liam
*Drum Roll* Sony chooses the latter! */DrumRoll*
: P
I remember reading Immersion was baffled cause Sony pretty much stuck with the same exact rumble technology as the Dual Shock. They wanted them to use some new tech they had made that would be more battery efficient etc. I'm sure Sony was quietly giving them the bird even though they had to pay them for the technology regardless. But to me the fact they are using the same Tech makes these talking to engineering claims even more transparent.
Though I called BS on Sonys claim of why there was no rumble a long time ago. I still think Immersions case was silly though, lets see a devise that uses software to simulate vibrations using a simple motor and counterweight. Call the Cellphone companies and pager companies Immersions coming for them (Oh my think of the ramifications this could have on the sex toy market).
old news is like 2 months old
...
magazine is not 2 months old zaqu.
*shakes head* Oh, Sony...
...at least it has rumble now. I was one of those very vocal rumble fans.
But but Kaz said he loved me and only me.
Good thing I don't own that console.
I still don't hate Sony, I'm buying a PS3 now that Uncharted is out. Sorry. >.<
hahah
Jesus christ in a handbasket, thats fuckin layme of Sony
Y'know, I was under the "OMG NO RUMBLZ" camp when the PS3 first came out, but after a COD4 session at a friend's house (my first time playing a PS3 for a long stretch of time) I began to appreciate the lightness of the controller and didn't really notice the lack of rumble at all.
Still, Sony execs = eediots.
