Unless you live in Europe you can never understand how much Nintendo have shit all over us the past 20 years.
Daddygerplex: lol, Somehow I believe I know how it feels to be shat on by Nintendo. We're in it together... Gamecube, Twilight, Wii, Mario 128, Mario POWER Tennis, Final Fantasy 64, CONECTIVITY, Soul Calibor 3... the list goes on. I understand your pain though, don't get me wrong.
Basically what I'm getting at, eventually... after this fall season is all said and done... we're all going to be enjoying the game for the game instead of bitching about superficial release dates.
Well tbh i have long since stopped caring about Nintendo Europe. I have imported Nintendo systems since the Gamecube.
I will have Smash Bros a few days after the US release so i am okay.
I also work in a game store, and i have seen first hand how much people care about how much the average consumer cares about how Nintendo treat Europe.
THEY DONT!
Seriously i wish i was like them. They live in there own perfect videogaming bubbles where shit tastes like candyfloss. They look at all the shovelware, and they see a cool new gaming experience.
Seriously if Smash Bros never even came out in Europe most of the Wii owners wouldnt even know it existed and it wouldnt matter.

One more thing, while I was playing COD4, some asshole Brit told me to STFU and called me a stupid American. I replied by saying I was Canadian and he Immediately shut up. I asked him why he hated Americans so much and he went on a rant about how we talk too much, damn hypocrite. Well I've run out of things to rant about and I should probably goto bed anyways since I have shit to do tomorrow. I hope someone is still reading this because as they throw away their time on this site, I'm stealing all the condiments from their fridge. "Oh, well I don't really need condiments anyways" you say, but when you run out of cheese and you want some zing with your sandwich, you're going to look at your bare fridge and then I'll be laughing, unless of course you live in walking distance of the grocery store. I hope it's raining outside.

So whats the point with this post? That we should shut the fuck up and just take this shit?
Translation should NOT be an issue! The "little" countries other than the English UK in Europe you're refering to is France, Germany, Spain and Italy. While the other 41 countries are fine with the English languaged version.
And it shouldnt take 2-6 months just to translate a frickin game! And certainly should NOT in SSBB's case!
When 360 owners get simoultaneous game releases worldwide in 10+ different languages, then what the hell is Nintendo's problem? With such an anticipated release as SSBB you'd expect that Nintendo put more work into getting it out right away! Especially when there's barely anything else playable on the Wii!
Also the waiting just causes us to loose exitement over the game. I can actually feel some of that effect now just by the fact that Japan has had SSBB a couple of weeks now, and knowing that we wont get it before in a couple of months.
And considering a numerous amount of content have been spoiled to me during that time (characters and stages), I believe that when the game comes out I will have nothing to be surprised over.
You might have been shat on a lot too, but you still need to go a long way if you want to join our club.
Projectexodus: We now know everything about Super Smash Bros Melee and everything about Super Mario Bros 3, doesn't stop those games from being some of the greatest games ever made ultimately. And about the Microsoft getting thier games out worldwide in one shot... it doesn't take a genious to realize that they delay the game long enough EVERYWHERE to enable that sort of thing to happen; Either way it shouldn't matter.
