I think the simplest reason that I didn't like your child pornography blog/argument is that I believe you are condoning the behavior of child molesters. Yes, you got your info from some other study, but you can't use that as a scapegoat now.
It's not the same thing as: If you're angry you punch a pillow. It is not our collective responsibility to help child molesters cope. I think in the end people are satisfied with the old fashioned concept of "protecting their children" and "putting child molesters in jail".

So, fame designer, if there's no harm involved in it, and it makes them just a bit happier and satisfied, why not negotiate.
It's like not negotiating with someone when all they ask for is a can of green beans. It's easy and will keep them from bugging you and stealing green beans from a store.
