no more recaps?

Just kidding.

For any of you loyal recap readers, you're probably wondering what the hell happened to recaps.

I just finished building a new computer last week and got it up and running last sunday, I've sold of my old computer already so I've been machineless at home for a week. I think it's going to take another week or 2 to full get up and running and get all my data migrated and organized from my back up devices. Plus, I switched to windows x64 and half my shit doesn't work anymore, so I gotta deal with finding new software/drivers/patches for alot of things.

Anyway, recaps aren't dead (although I was hoping someone would assume so and just take over), but they'll be gone for another week or two. I won't be recapping the downtime, it's just gonna be a fresh start. =P

On sidenote, if anyone wants to just completely take over, feel free to take the recap mantle.

lol. the women in your blog are hawter, but yeah it's DAMN great to have a new PC. I can open HUGE files in painter/photoshop/maya now. it's amazing.

plus I can play games I couldn't play before.

In a weird bit of synchronicity, I also have been thinking of replacing my current rig with something better. Mine's like 4 years old.

@ceark - Yeah, the compatibility issues with XP 64-bit edition is frustrating at times... I completely understand that feeling.

@FrozenBabylon - Not too weird - the prices of PCs started to rise about 4 years ago and are now down.

My PC is about the same age and I've been considering upgrading as well... but I think I'll wait until there's a PC game that my rig can't handle before upgrading.

Same here Ceark. My old PC was 4 years old. And I stuck with XP Pro. I thought about going the x64 route, but I wanted all my hardware to work.

OMG, my PC is almost 4 years old too :O.

I'm just waiting for Starcraft 2 to upgrade (or maybe spore if it lags)

XP-64 is going to cause a lot of problems, it did for me. I moved back to 32bit because of all my older games/software that was having trouble

Please keep it up Ceark. Although I can imagine the sheer amount of work you've already got. If you stop doing the recaps I will miss the morning ritual. Get out of bed, light a smoke, make some coffee and look at your recaps.
