So I got back in time to do the recap ON TIME tonight. Sorry for being so late the last few days.

I went to a nice get together with a lot of my friends today. Although we all live within an hour and a half of each other, we rarely get together because our schedules are just so different. It was good to see many of my friends and hear what games/films they're working on or what game/film company they had moved too. I was actually thinking to myself today that while a get together like this, with almost everyone present as someone who is working in various game/film companies that make many of the games/films you guys watch in play/watch, how bizarrely ordinary this has become to me. When I was kid, I always thought of these kind of people as magic folks that did magic things to make magic happen on my tv screen. It's nice to know that we're all ordinary people though. The cool thing about these get togethers, though, is that you learn a lot of "inside" information that the average gamer/movies watcher would shit themselves over. And no, I'm not sharing. You'll note that anytime I bring up an industry topic I don't generally mention names or companies people work at. (it's called how to keep your job/not compromise your friends job. Don't share those important secrets).

Anyway. Mass Effect is beautiful. But it's also a bug ridden at times almost unplayable heap of code. Thank god knives warned me to save often.

Letsee....what goodies is in the pipeline for you dtoiders now...hmmm...
Starting on Rio Mccarthy in Persona 3 probably sometime next week. I started writing an introduction article on the inside look at computer graphics series that I will be writing, as well as some notes for lost odyssey. hopefully will have these up soon.

Also, the usermods for UT3 are pretty cool. I had no idea you could import your own characters into the game. Perhaps I'll look into building a Mr. Destructoid for UT3 in the future when I have time. I just need to look into what's needed in terms of the porting side of the process, the rest would be relatively simple.
