HITCHHIKER'S GUIDE TO CBLOG RECAPS


I have been working long long hours lately. I've had little time for personal life, personal work, and destructoid. Fortunately, there seems to be a lull in the long hours coming up, which means I'll be able to catch up on things for awhile until the next crunch.

In anycase, the long hours do have the advantage of overtime pay. In the last 3 months, I doubled the amount that I usually put in my savings account, spent about 1500 dollars on games, which as a result my game shelf:

the best part though, is I decided to go forward with the long awaited upgrade of my current pc, which I've been pushing the limits of the last 2 years. I gave myself kinda a hard limit in that I would not spend more then a weeks pay on my new computer's parts, so it's not some ridiculous 5 grand computer, but it's pretty decent and far better then what I have now. This thing should run circles around my current machine, which means I can push more data in maya and handle larger images in photoshop and paint larger canvas's with more complicated brushes in painter. awesome sauce. This also means that I've been preparing my data to move to the new pc, and also reformatting and resetting up my old pc (I'm selling it to a friend), so my usual tools are not available to me, HENCE the Dtoid recap account has been delayed a week.
