Howdy. I'm back. my recaps are rather to the point these days. I reserve my witticisms for only a few posts a day. At first this is due to the fact that I'm busy as hell these days. Now it's because I'm busy as hell and I find that few witticisms are better for getting a bulk of information across, and it makes the few witticisms punchier. and I'm busy as hell.

Also, Cincinatti "EVENT" looks epic, I'd love to go. Notice I said "Event." That is beyond a NARP that I don't think it would be right to call it a NARP.
I've been doing a good bit of house hunting these last few months. The median house price in LA is over half a million dollars. HALF A MILLION DOLLARS. Is it the material cost or something with construction? NO. These half million dollar homes easily go for 100k in other areas of America where people have sense in their head. California sucks.
Anyway, I apologize for my minimal participation in DTOID as of late. I'm still here. But with work at work and work at home and house hunting, my participation will probably continue to be very low until I secure some property. It's a very tedious task to find the right place when your about to drop 3 to 4 tenths of a million dollars for a shack. =(
I bet you guys thought I just bailed on my own contest eh? that would of been a good guess. I've been so horrendously busy with work and house hunting (which f-in sucks to do in LA. Not as bad as say, Manhattan, but still shitty nonetheless) and other shit. Anyway, I finally got around to finishing this up, after a total of 65 hours of work on it. I present you with:

Scary womanizing pig mask has you covered tomorrow and saturday. I was planning on doing the recaps, but SWPM offered and I said to myself "hell, I'm busy as hell right now. awesome."
Aside from getting some to work on art again, I'm in the midst of purchasing a Condo right now. It's a lot of work, especially since property is so expensive in LA.
Also. I Mr. Smoking Robot said he was lonely. I bought him a friend.
I just got from the LA Narp. It's 5 am. I will combine Fridays recaps with Saturdays recaps tomorow, so tomorrow's recap will be a 2 day double feature.
I never really liked GTA games. That being said, I really, really like GTA IV. Also, it's really freaking long. I'm 20 hours in and only like 35% done.
Also, Recaps will go up really really late tomorrow, as I will be out at the LA NARP. So whenever I get back from that.
I don't play online accept with DTOIDers and friends. Why? Because I like interacting with mature people. The online gaming community is just to saturated with prepubescent boys with only cursory words in their vocabulary and not a spot of courtesy in their repertoire. People have made the reference of "the xbox" baby sitting the children of people who really shouldn't be having children. But I think that analogy is incomplete. Really, it's the mature crowd babysitting the children of people who really shouldn't be having children in their mature rated online games. Seriously. If I could find the parents of every rude child that I've endured while playing online (which is not many, because I avoid playing online. BUT every single time I do play online in a non dtoid game, I run into them), I would mail them a bill for babysitting. Or I'd slap the mother and kick the father in balls with a firm "you-shoulda-used-a-condom" lecture.
But today was interesting. I've been itching to get to lvl 12 on COD4 so that I could get the TOID clan tag. This was a chance to get there faster (double xp weekend), which means less baby sitting.
So I generally don't say anything, during these games. I just ignore the children as best as I can. But today for some reason, one of these children started harrassing me for no apparent reason. This went on for an hour. Now your probably thinking "why not just find a different lobby?" But in my mind, I shouldn't have to, and quiet honestly these kids are everwhere. I finally broke my cool when he started talking about my mother and responded, "Look kid. I understand that your going through puberty right now. I understand this is a tough time where hormones are raging, and the world seems to be against you. I understand you have strong desires to make love to anything and everything, even people's mother's. I understand that you have a strong desire to take out your frustations on others. But please, behaving like this in anonymous environment can very well effect your behaviour and social habits in the real world, and you will never see a vagina other then your own mother's if you keep acting like that."
I immediately regretted saying anything. It was entirely a reflexive and I fell for the bait. Now I just had to wait for the inevitable shitstorm.
Ironically, it shut him up. In fact, not only did he stop talking, he quietly logged off shortly thereafter. Did I hit a sore spot? Not what I was expecting. Who woulda thought...
as usual, thursdays are good days. i got paid. i've pushed through the bulk of some crunchtime work and after 4 weeks of doing OT i'm finally starting to have some free time again, which means getting to do some art. i officially started working on the rio's painting 3 days ago. i'm managed to squeeze in about 4 hours of work on it and i'm probably about 10 percent done with the drafting stage. I also beat dead rising the other day so I'm all set in having background knowledge of the subject for conrad's painting. i also received the paper guillotine in the mail today, so i now have the all tools to make the dtoid comic book (just gotta go buy all the raw materials now). The deadline for the book project is gonna be pushed way way back because I really want to include more writing/art/random shit from the dtoid community in the book (more on this in the future) and give it Niero in person at PAX. I have however, decided on what kind of book I'm going to make, and I'm pretty excited to get started on it in the coming months. i realize i'm now technically 1 month and half behind schedule on all my personal projects, but such is life. if only there were 48 hours in a day instead of 24. =P
on a side note, my copy of P3Fes shipped today, so I'm very excited for that coming in the mail soon :3
