A simple question...

I've got a question for all muh PC homefries out there (yea that was lame).

I recently spotted GRAW for PC for $10 dollars at Wal-Mart. I looked at the specifications on the back and it said the required OS was "Windows XP (only)". Now I have checked several games in the past month or so and I've found a few others that are the same way (Devil May Cry 3, Rainbow 6:Vegas).

Probably a stupid question, but it has been bugging me..

Could I run those games on Vista, or would I have to make a separate partition for XP?

You might want to hide this CBlog, it's going to get flaming in here quickly, questions generally go into the forums. You can post questions on the CBlogs, but they usually need to have something that you state your opinion on and then ask for input on. So to emulate king3vbo up there...

Just to answer your question, yes.

Right click on the game (after install) and click the compatablity tab and run in it windows XP mode.

To those who flamed: a simple answer would have been yes. You didn't have to waste your time by commenting to my blog..that pretty much makes you the fool.

Thanks Mix for a helpful answer..I figured I could do it that way, but I had to be sure before I even wasted some moneys.

For those who flamed..

Get the fuck over it.

And I know what c-blogs are for...

Destructoid is an open discussion community. You don't need to "audition" to post a comment - just speak your mind. We respect differing opinions on the site, so have at it. Be smart, funny, insightful, clueless, or cute -- but back it up with substance. Keep your cool, keep it fun. We only ask that you act respectfully and above all: don't be a troll and ruin it for everyone else. Don't bring down gamers or we'll, you know, gently shoot you in the face and stuff you into a flaming mailbox. Each comment is your opportuntity to make this community awesomer. Is that even a word?

Avoiding the banhammer only requires common sense: spamming, trolling, racism, NSFW stuff, and other forms of sucking will not be tolerated. If anyone is griefing please report abuse. Be good. Don't suck!
