So I managed to score Quantum of Solace early. I have to say I'm not disappointed. If Gears of War and Call of Duty 4 had a bastard lovechild, this game would be it.

As it is a Bond game, stealth is the best way to go. There are quicktime events for close-quarter takedowns. Dodge/disable security cameras or bring a platoon of elite guards down on you.

So I have to say, if you are a super fan of Bond AND the Call of Duty 4 engine AND the Gears of War cover system, you may just still want to rent this instead of buy. Multi is decent, but not extraordinary. Good for Achievement whoring, if that's your thing. The main story is short. A good game to save for the summer drought.

I gotta say, this games manages to outdo CoD4 in some places.

But with all of the good stuff coming out this holiday season, this game will be forgotten about. Its a shame.

Really? I thought it was really horrible :/
Kinda entertaining to play with the arcade shooting mechanics, but only 3 hours long and QTE's with 1 button?? Maybe one of the worse Bond games I've ever played.

I'm actually looking forward to getting this from gamefly quite a bit. It looks like it's gonna go under some people's radars just due to it being a movie game.

The movies nothing compared to Casino Royale. For a good part of the film theres an action scene every ten minutes. Most of them are pretty tense and interesting but the amount of them in quick succession ruins the films flow. Theres some good moments in the film though, such as bond telling Camille how to kill and an excellent modernization of Goldfingers golden girl.
