This film is fucking epic. It has olden time knights, cannibal glaswegan punks and people getting fucked up by all sorts of things. Also, they drive a Bentley Continental, one of the most awesome cars ever.
The basic story is that a disease broke out in Scotland and so they quarantined it because they couldn't find a cure. It's Hadrian's wall all over again, only with mines, guns and electric fences too. Twenty or so years later, they find out that it has broken out in London and that there are still people alive up in Scotland. They send in people to get a survivor to get a cure. That is about all you really need to know.
After this, there is lots of violence and stuff. They get to Glasgow and then find that the only people left alive are cannibalistic Glaswegian punks with a tendency to commit extremely violent acts (sort of like now). They then escape.
After wandering along for a bit they are captured by KNIGHTS! Motherfucking KNIGHTS! lead by none other than this guy here:
He should. He is not only the guy who played Linderman in Heroes but he also played the lead in Clockwork Orange. Here, he plays a sort of king of the immune. Everyone living in his castle with him have reverted to the middle ages again. This means knight fights, and they are delivered.
This dude ends up dying but on the way, some poor guy gets annihilated by the flail
Then, they leave there and end up getting hold of the Bentley. What follows is an awesome chase where lots of people end up dead and a gimp ends up exploded. Also, while the chase goes on, Frankie Goes to hollywood's Two Tribes plays in the backgounrd. Also, also, explosions
Anyways, you must watch this film. It isn't exactly thought inspiring or going to win any oscar's but it does have a lot of violence and cool stuff. Get hold of it and watch it, you won't be disappointed.
