Siren: New Translation

I didn't create a Japanes PSN account for Gran Turismo 5 demo; I created one for this game.

After feeling sort of "meh" on the new Silent Hill, I felt like being dropped-kicked in the nuts after seeing the gameplay video for the first time. I never felt these goosebumps since seeing those ghost babies/children in the original Silent Hill. I knew then that I had to play the demo.

The camera/movement takes a little bit of getting used to. It's not great, but not too bad either. the SIXAXIS features still need some work because it feels tacked on. One thing that needs to be added to the control? Quick 180-degres and/or dodge.

Surprisingly, the voice acting and motion capture is very good. I would go out on a limb and say that it is better than any of the Silent Hill's effort.

Overall, the game demo is pretty impressive. The game seems to be tailored for the Western market, but oddly there is no announcement on the game's release outside Japan. Good thing the PS3 is region-free...because Japan-only or not...I'm getting this game.
