There are a few things I really like about this game: simplicity of controls, destructible environments, and NO AUTOMATIC HEALING.
The controls is down to the real basic of controls: aim/shoot, run/strafe and duck. Hell, even melee is down to just using your knife. No retarded moves like "duck behind a wall", "shoot and duck" and "blind firing" (no "peeking" with less risk of getting a headshot) and all that nonsense which just makes it too complicated for my feeble brain. I like COD4 for going to this direction and I commend DICE for taking it a step further.
Destructible environments. Man, this brings a whole new level of enjoyment. you can kill them beetchez in a fetal position behind that wall. A couple of complaints, though: the destructibility of the environments seem predictable (you almost know how that wall would blow up) and I can't ram my tank to a building! what the hell?
No automatic healing. I forgot which game started this "Yes-b*tch-I'm Wolverine-I-don't need-no stinkin'-medicine-to-heal-myself" gameplay. IMO, it's stupid. BC is a breath of fresh air, I'm telling you. It makes the fight fair; there's a great chance that little coward soldier who hides while you're trying to kill him won't be healed by the time you see him again. Gunned down while in the middle of injecting yourself with medicine? Well, suck it...you shouldn't have gotten yourself shot.
Oh, one more thing: option to spawn with your squad is genius. I don't have to walk over to the action just to whoop some ass. That's a double-edged sword of course: i think 80% of my deaths is due to spawning where the action is.
So I'm really enjoying this. On the PSN I'm logged on as "Bubuli." Feel free to witness how often i spawn in a multiplayer game.
I was actually disappointed with my BF:BC demo.
I won an early download from Dtoid and I played through single player twice and a good 30 mins in multi-player but I couldn't get myself into it and I really like FPS games. The controls seemed really sloppy to me for aiming...
Couple things I hate about bad company: it's a dummed down console version with tons of lag. I didnt see the option for a commander slot, squads seemed to be automatic, and the map(s) were bland and boring. After playing 2142 with 64 player maps, artillery, people screaming for medics, and explosions. I couldn't play this.

I've been playing the demo too. I'm surprised how much fun I was having, I honestly wasn't expecting much.

Now if only the controls weren't as loose as Yashoki's mom

It didnt feel like a battlefield game.
@Yashoki, lag? you mean network lag? really? not in my experience. the game I experienced tons of lag is Resistance...
what you view as "dumbed down," I view as "simplified." maybe that's why i enjoy it so much...because i'm dumb.
@King3vbo and Mix: to each his own, I guess. to me, the controls are fine...but I'm playing this on the PS3...360 experience may be different.
