Again whilest I am procrastinating from the homework another episode of HAWP appears before my eyes.



Well team, did we win big this time? Or is it impossible to compare to the excellence that was the last one? Tell me! tell me!

I'm doing homework and haven't watched it yet. Enjoy, or don't, but I hope you do because I really like the ones that are amazing. I also like the ones that are just passable, but obviously prefer the amazing ones.

I was filled with joy and hope that the day of the US election I would be able to play the 20 free rock band songs and watch as the polls rolled in. Alas, it looks like only one of those dreams may come true today.

The Rock Band website told us a while back that these 20 free songs would be released today, and so far they have not been. I'm not sure if the world has forgotten about them, possibly due to the obscure nature of the tracks, or if nobody cares.

I, however, do care. In honour of my caring, I think I'll do a little speculation. I think that maybe Rock Band 2 doesn't want to release these songs right now. It's pretty hot on the heels of the recent release of Guitar Hero: World Tour. I don't think the release of 20 free songs from artists that no one has ever heard of ever (if you dispute this, please just shut up) will bring any sort of happy light to your older, but amazing, product. With the gauntlet of releases pouring out right now, I don't think Ea/MTV/Harmonix needs the headline "20 crap songs put out on rock band" when their last announcement was their mass money exchange for a slice of the beatles.

Anyways, in closing I'd just like to say..

Where are my damn songs?

I think this whole whining about women playing games for different reasons is the most retarded thing in the world, but this is a nicely written article that I think will stimulate the mind and you should probably get to supporting your local multi-site participant. Ooooo, look how boring I am. I just stumble upon these HAWP videos and post them. Should I post other things, or should I let my work and university schedule keep me from doing anything meaningful here? I think I'm just going to let you guys watch this and not care.
