Always needed to be somebody

And the world's for your taking
All you got to do is save the world

Find it all pretty satisfactory

The worst part is that tragedies like this bring sick fucks like JT joy. When your happy that some messed up kid killed a bunch of people so you can further your agenda, thats just sick
I don't think this was just depression. Like the VT korean guy, he was planning this shit cause he's a sick fuck killer. Plain and simple.
So then she says, "There had to be a shooting somewhere." And, unfortunately, she was right - although we didn't know it at the time (there was no announcement on campus that I know of). We had planned on stopping at her bank, and when we get there the teller freaks out Alex by incorrectly telling her that her mother was at Westroads with the grandkids. Alex started to panic now, but is confused because her mother wasn't at Westroads - her mother was at home. So we keep talking to the teller and it seems like she misunderstood that it was actually Alex's grandmother and aunt (with her two kids) that were at Westroads.
Everyone was fine, luckily. They were in the parking lot at the time of the incident, thanks to the fact that they didn't want to wake up the children (who were sleeping when they arrived at the mall). So they picked up some food from Panera and walked out, or else they would have been in the building at the moment everything went to shit. Alex was mad that she overreacted once she heard about the shooting, but it was really the teller's fault (for not being able to tell us the whole story and telling Alex her mother was there). I've never had any of my loved ones so close to a situation like that, so I didn't feel the need to agree with her. There's nothing wrong with being worried about your family.
The annoying part was the coverage of the incident, which went on for the rest of the day. The police was unable to really dig up any evidence, having only cordoned off the shooter's house after removing his girlfriend from it, and they held a news conference later in the day. Needless to say, we didn't really learn anything at that news conference. Needless to say, the coverage ran on all day.
They also had interviews with the witnesses, which were rather embarrassing as well. One of the questions was, "What do you think the killers motive was?" I mean, for fuck's sake, how the hell is someone supposed to answer that? Another gem was when they interviewed a "friend" of the guy who explained how Hawkins "went out in style." God, was it horrible...
The only difference is that the videogame industry can't defend itself the way the pharmaceuticals lobby does, y'know, namely buying off politicians.
Thanks alot! I'm just sad that anyone got hurt...
