I've been clean since May 26th. 108 days without WoW. After two years of servitude, I finally freed myself after having a out loud fit at a PKer. It made me realize how deeply I was mired in this game and how stupidly trivial it all was.

And I'm really tempted right now to go back.

Partly, I blame the last season on South Park. My roommate and I have a tradition that whenever a box set of a TV show we enjoy comes out, we'll generally do nothing but loop the set constantly for days on end. Right smack on disc 2 is the now Emmy-winning "Make Love, Not Warcraft" episode. Crap.

Partly, I blame being unemployed. I've got a lot of damn time on my hands I honestly don't know how to fill it all. When I'm not trudging through the classifieds, I'm playing games to keep my spirits up. Unfortunately, I've burned through almost all of my stockpile of single player titles that I'd been holding in reserve. It's made me rather lonely as well... Going from a busy office to the empty world that is the unpopulated 9-5 universe? I'm going spastic for human contact.

Lastly, I blame myself. I'm weak willed. Damn weak willed. I'll never get to go to Vegas because I know I'd be the dip that bets everything he owns and loses.

I really don't know what to do here. For about the last two weeks, I've kept from playing it by running through Jade Empire (twice) and cooking up a storm in the kitchen (omg hoagies). All I've got now is that torrent of every issue of She-Hulk. Once I read those, I fear for my future.
