This is the first time I've seen Anonymous do something that wasn't completely fucking retarded. Sorry, that may offend some people here, but the chans are pure, distilled, unadulterated idiocy for the most part. I'm glad they are trying something new and, dare I say, noble. Scientology is bad and everyone hates it, yet most of the people who hate it are from religious families - making them the by-product of idiots - for another religion.

Encyclopedia Dramatica has been chronicling this for quite a while. There are many things that the average person does not know about Scientology, and it seems that the organization has been implicated in quite a few deaths, as well as high ranking members being convicted of various other criminal activities, including the largest infiltration of the United States Government on record(http://theunfunnytruth.ytmnd.com/). If anonymous had not started the raid, I would have chalked the organization up as just another kooky, harmless cult, but after being challenged to do some research of my own, I don't believe that could be any further from the truth. I hope anonymous neither forgive, nor forget in this matter.

The issue is not what their religious beliefs are, because frankly, all religions have somewhat crazy beliefs. The issue is that Scientology is more focused on making money and will go to aggressive lengths to ruin people's lives if they try to leave or get help.

@Reaprar - This isn't just "4chan's /b/", a.)no more raids are allowed to be organized from /b/, and b.)They weren't the first ones on this bandwagon. It started on some of the smaller *chan's.
@Promagnum - I don't recall Catholicism (nor many other large religions) being responsible for anything near the magnitude of Lisa McPherson's horrible death. I'm not saying any religion is right, but rather that the practices of Scientology are just plain wrong.

Ironically, Project Chanology has a pretty good point. This whole thing started because of the removal of the Tom Cruise training videos, they cite that Knowledge is free, and they disagree with Scientology's methods of the removal of this information.
