For Wiisucks:
Hi! My name is Jack Klassen.! I'm a completely ordinary teenage boy from San Diego, California. My interests include soccer, surfing, writing poetry, and luge. I am homeschooled by my father who fought in the Korean War and was exposed to nerve gas. He is kind of crazy but I still love him. We got the Internet two years ago and I started making new friends on Yahoo! messenger. Surprisingly, most of these new friends were older men who wanted to have illegal, underage sex with me. Needless to say, I got a boner like a rocketship and cybersex quickly became my favorite thing in the entire world. Wait, did I say boner like a rocketship? I meant my vagina got as wet as Lake Titicaca. I started saving all of the hot chat sessions I was having with the Pakistanis, lesbians, child molesters and other monsters who were instant messaging me all day and all night, and I decided to put them up here on this website so you can see exactly how disgusting the entire human race is. Since then, I have been in a waterskiing accident that mangled my genitals beyond repair, been diagnosed with cerebral palsy, brain cancer, and Crohn's disease, learned to speak Urdu and French, covered my naked body in superglue, went to French lesbian camp, made a Hindu eat a roast beef sandwich out of my vagina, and ruined perfectly good cybersex for at least one hundred people. Use the menu above to find out more about me and start reading my sexy adventures,

Persona 3: FES: For the Third Time for the First Time
blehman | 11:51 AM on 12.18.2008 17 comments

With the recent release of Persona 4 and the fact that I've finished Fallout 3 and have no desire to pick The Last Remnant back up for a while, I decided to delve back into the world of Persona 3:FES. I've tried several times to get through this great game, only to set it down for the new sexy and forget where I'm at, only to be overwhelmed to start over.

But not this time. This time, I will get through P3.

Sure, I've already got a lot of different things going on. The almost nightly Left 4 Dead versus games. The recently started Chrono Trigger DS game I'm on/off playing. Christmas shoppi...oh, wait, I'm done with that. Achievement whoring in Fallout. Reading Battle Royale. Watching horrible movies on Netflix. Many things.

But I'm dedicated this time. I will grind and grind and school and grind. I will fuse and quest and study and link. I will buy and sell and game and grind. And grind and grind and grind.

Yes, I've once again realized what a great dungeon grinder Persona 3 is. Personally, I really don't mind grinding. There's something soothing and relaxing to me about grinding for hours at a time. Except not so much in P3. I actually have to think about what I'm doing when I move on to higher floors here. It's not just "hack/slash/rinse/repeat" here, it's "find weakness/exploit weakness/try not to die" on a lot of the fights. The bosses, so far, are stronger than I am and not afraid to kick me in the face.

Now, keep in mind the farthest I've reached in this game is about two months in. That equals out to roughly twenty hours of time I've spent in front of the PS2 playing. This is the....third of fourth time I've started playing, so technically, I should be almost done with it, not back at the beginning. It's just that it's so deep and complex that I can't in good faith just "pick up" where I was without knowing how I got to that point, which in all actuality is pretty f'n cool. It just sucks forgetting.

Then again, it can be fun forgetting too. Like, I'd forgotten how much I love the soundtrack to P3. I was seriously on the cusp of buying a copy so I could listen to it all the time when I remembered I still had shopping to do for family and stuff. So it'll have to wait a while before I can jam it in my car, but I can still enjoy it while I play. I'd also forgotten about how much I love Junpei. It's nice to have semi-realistic kids in a game, and not "kids", like in most JRPG's.

So, if y'all don't see me 'round the 360 for a little while, it's because I'm starting to get back on a nice little PS2 JRPG kick. I'll miss the achievements, but the memories will stay until I drink them away.

Yeah, P3 is pretty spiffy. I'll probably pick up P4 next week, along with some other games with my gift cards y'all.

Good luck! I've never tried Persona yet so I'm curious as to how much grinding and such is actually involved...

Microsoft needs to find a way to retroactively add achievements for every non-Xbox 360 game. I guarantee that people will go back and play them more.

I still like the JRPG idea, but they need to make them enjoyable in 20-45 minute increments. And they should all be required to have a boss that drops a Lance of Longinus at some point.

P4 is sexy, and Im not getting sick of the soundtrack like I did with P3. P4 is a VAST improvement in every way over P3 and is guaranteed to knock your socks/pants/shirt/underoos off.

I've got a copy of the soundtrack. I'll see if I can locate it and you can have it.

Oh man, P3 was an amazing game, but damn was it long (well, it was if you took it seriously). I picked and left the game twice before finishing it. I've been playing P4 a lot since it came out. When you finish P3, definitely pick up P4. It's about 6 or 7 hours per month now, which is nice. And... well, just read the dtoid review of it and you'll see how I feel about it.

Not to tell you what to do or anything, but you may want to download a link from Megaupload that should be in your gmail account (blehman646@gmail.com) very soon :)

I'm at about the same point in the game, but I usually avoid battles and just fight the bosses. Am I doing it wrong?

I too am playing through Persona 3 FES right now, and...IT OWNS MY SOUL! I feel urges coming on every day if I wait too long to play this...70 hours of methodical grinding and social links, and dating sims, and Exams, and Clubs, not to mention tartarus...and I think I'm only half way through the game...and I'm STILL getting new characters! It makes a mockery of how disorganized and unmotivating my real life is by making me squeeze every single event out of a day just to make my character as strong as possible. This game...this game...

I finally picked up Persona 3 FES. But unfortunately, I have to wait until the holidays, because my PS2 is at my parent's house. Just a little while longer!
