Years ago, when I was but a boy, I had a game system that ruled all other game systems, designed by a company that ruled all other game companies. That system was a Super Nintendo. That company's name was Nintendo. But lately it seems that Nintendo has abandoned us, the older, more hardcore gamer, in favor of greener, less hardcore kids. And a game system that's for kids or moms or dads or old smelly people, I don't feel that that's appropriate. I need to be pandered to now that the economy is down the drain, and I don't feel like spending hard earned money on a system where other people can have fun doing worthless things and buying accessories for their little Wii-penises. I need games, and more specifically, games that I won't whine about. And not only have they given up on us hardcore gamers, they're doing a good job at trying to kill the more relaxed "vaginas" that buy their games now, too. Nintendo has done a pretty good job getting the "basics" of their library out there, releasing one of the numerous sequels to all of their major franchises in the past few years, but I don't feel that their production numbers are very good. One new Mario game? One new Zelda game? I need more, and I need them now. Yeah, there may be "third-party" games out there, but I don't trust my money to any unknown company that can't even get a system up and running. I mean, how much do you really need to develop a game console with a library of titles? This line is here to see if anyone is reading. I think it's laziness, pure and simple. And don't even get me started on Sega's lazy ass, giving up on the Dreamcast just because it didn't "sell well". Well, I bought one, so my money should've been used to keep the company running. All that "one person can make a difference" crap totally applies here. Along with giving up on their installed fanbase (the new group of posers I won't even mention), Nintendo is very quietly doing something else. They're trying to kill us. Look at this.
What's the first thing you think of when you see this? If you said blunt object I can use to beat an elderly person to death, you win! I'm surprised FoxNews hasn't picked up on this yet. I know my first reaction opon obtaining a Wii was to viciously beat my cat with my Wii-mote by flailing it wildly around the Wii-strap. Then I ate. And even with the ill-fitting Wii-condom (how do those holes keep the semen in?), you can still swing with sufficiant force the Wii-cock to force injury to the back of a throat. Don't even get me started about what a loose Wii-mote can do to your eyes.
In a way even, the Wii is allowing the terrorists to win, especially because the way the Wii is designed helps the terrorists. With the "gun-realizer-actualler" installed about the head and neck of the Wii-mote, it actually mimicks a real firearm, allowing, of course, for weight, kick-back, and wind. This is no kids toy now, it is, quite literally, a terrorist-producing death machine. With such detailed training programs as Wii-Play (a clever play on words that in Arabic means "Death to Americas") more and more innocent children are being mass-produced to learn to kill(targets, yes, but next?). So to all you "apologists" out there trying to say "Oh but the Wii does have good games for the hardcore gamer" let me just say that I don't want you in my country supporting terrorists and rape and abortion. You take your damn Wii and move to one of those hippie countries like Canada, or Syria, or North Korea, and you let me keep my freedoms here. Because just because someone else can like something doesn't mean I have to accept or acknowledge it.

I am saying this of my own free will and not because somebody, let's say Reggie Fils-Aimé, is standing behind me as we speak pressing the barrel a gun against the base of my skull. No, that hypothetical situation is definitely not what is currently happening. So what ever you do, do not call the police and bother them with the imaginary scenario I described above. FOR THE LOVE OF GOD, SOMEBODY PLEASE DON'T HELP ME!
the sarcasm took forever to flesh out though.
good shite

Its just that hardcore gamers dont want newcomers to wedge into their games, it messes with the gameplay and sometimes simplifies game mechanics. Thats why there are always games that have varying learning curves, and if newcomers dont want to spend time on it then its their fault. I personally think there should be a fine line between games that are meant to be for new comers and the hardcore, Nintendo is kind of blending it together from what I'm seeing. o.O
Nintendo's been releasing core games ever since the start of the Wii's launch. In fact, it's been using the same strategy it first used with the DS to offer a balanced mix of core and non-gamer titles.
If Nintendo didn't care about its core userbase, then why is it choosing to release a remake of Punch-Out and sequels to Sin & Punishment and Trace Memory and a spiritual sequel to Excite Truck ? Hell, it wouldn't even have done a thing about improving the Wii's storage space and offering MotionPlus to improve and expand on the Wii controller's capabilities if it didn't care about the reasonable complaints its fans have made.
There's also some other software that's coming out like Endless Ocean 2, Takt of Magic and Wii Sports Resort along with more obscure titles like Takt of Magic, Cosmic Walker, Spawn Smasher as well as Dynamic Slash. Besides, Nintendo's already confirmed the development of new Zelda and Pikmin titles. You have to learn how to be patience because it generally takes 2-3 years to make games like those.
Nintendo is also doing the same for the DS. Rhythm Heaven was just released and there's Mario & Luigi RPG 3 coming out along with the surprising return of Starfy.
Nintendo makes mistakes and miss opportunities (like with controversy of Disaster and Fatal Frame 4 for example and the rehash of games like Animal Crossing and Pokemon) and will continue to do so just like any other game company. People just have to accept the fact that in order for Nintendo to be successful in this generation, it had to make hardware and software that appeals to both the core and non-gamer.
As for third-party support, the Wii is getting more support with exclusive titles and potentially better quality games this year than ever before and some titles we know about are planned for next year while others are still TBA. Naturally, there's no stopping the Wii from being the target of shovelware.
There's MadWorld, Overkill, Tenchu,Deadly Creatures, Run Factory and new titles such as Klonoa, Little King's Story, Ghost Busters, The Conduit, Let's Tap, Muramasa, Grand Slame Tennis, Tiger Woods, Dead Space: Extraction, RE Darkside Chronicles, Spyborgs, Rabbids go Home, Dragon Quest X, Monster Hunter 3, Kizuna, Arc Rise Fantasia, Tales of Grace, Red Steel 2, No More Heroes 2, Final Fantasy:CB, Cursed Mountain, Silent Hill:SM, Overlord,KORE Gang, Guitar Hero Metallica, Ninja Turtles: Smash Up, Boom Blox 2, Big Bang Mini Party, A Boy & His Blob, Fragile, Tatsunoko vs. Capcom, EA/Grasshopper Manufacture's multi-platform action horror title and the recently announced new horror title, Feel.
The Wii is finally receiving more serious support from big publishers like EA, Sega, Capcom and Ubisoft as well as Square Enix and Bandai Namco and even smaller publishers like Marvelous and XSEEDS too.
Don't even get me started on new Wiiware titles.
My point is, there's a lot of Wii titles coming out with a good chance that many of them will be of fun and of good quality. The Wii is more of a secondary system to own for gamers who are more into online and HD gaming. However, if the Wii meets your expectations and needs for gaming, then it's a fine system to own.
Personally, I'm not a big online gamer and don't care much about the majority of first and second-party titles on the 360 and PS3. There's some like God of War and Heavy Rain and third-party titles such as Uncharted 2 and Bayonetta that have caught my interest this year. But in comparision, there's far more Wii titles that interest me.
I don't see anyone complaining about Microsoft this year. The only 2 games its announced and release this year have been the soid but fairly simplistic first-party title Halo Wars which has met mixed reviews and the sub-par Ninja Blade which is more or less a knock off of Ninja Gaiden.
Please, please re-read what I've written. Or, conversely, read it for the first time.
ps: grow up.
