Secret of Evermore
binny101 | 10:54 AM on 03.25.2008 9 comments

Now nobody needs to tell me how much we got shafted with this instead of Seiken Densetsu 3, but when I played this originally, it was fun. I mean the story was weak, lack of multiplayer was just a terrible choice, but I remember enjoying it.

I started trying to play this again this weekend, and I realized why it is bad. It is way too hard. Lack of multiplayer therefore results in lack of reviving when you are dead. Secret of Mana was great for multiplayer because of the fact that you could die in the ever so epic battles, but then your teammates could simply bring you back with a Cup of Wishes.

So simply playing this game makes me want to play more Secret of Mana, and forget this difficult game. Maybe I'll play some Tetris too.

I'm not sure if in my old age now, if I have gotten retarded or just bad at games. I mean liek I am constantly dying which therefore means I = Fail. But even when I'm levelign up, the plants things still constantly kill me. My life is epic fail...

Constant dying means you need to level up. But old games like this and older were more hard and required skill.

2 oil + 1 wax = Win.

Seriously, if you're not using your alchemy to help you fight, then you're doing it wrong.

Um...this game is amazing you are failing right now.

Yeah, the only thing this game did wrong was having 'Secret of' in its title. People then assumed it was a sequel.

On its own, its fantastic. I loved the B-movie camp. Too many games take themselves too seriously.

Like I said, I think I've become terrible at games, so come end of school, I will try my best to fix that. As a kid I beat it no problem but aparently I suck at life now.

Evermore hard? That's just silly.
