Atlus(not Bioshock), you spoil us!!
binny101 | 4:08 PM on 03.27.2008 12 comments

Yet again, Atlus makes my eyes water with join! Another email which contains info on Spectral force 3 for 360, and Etrian Odyssey II!

Atlus is proud to announce Etrian Odyssey II: Heroes of Lagaard for Nintendo DS™. New character classes, more fiendish FOEs, a streamlined store/inventory management system, and an enhanced touch screen map tool elevate this sequel beyond the original cult classic. Revisit one of the genre's purest experiences on your quest to retrieve the Holy Grail of Kings from a fabled castle in the sky.

The odyssey continues June 17th.

Your Xbox 360® has been craving a great strategy RPG. Understanding your 360's needs, we've gone ahead and launched the official Spectral Force 3 website, and released the trailer in addition to a bunch of screens.

Assemble your mercenary force from 40 unique characters, each with their own special attacks. With over 100 missions to complete, gamers are guaranteed a substantial gameplay experience. A variety of alliegances to choose from ultimately give you the power to guide the course of the Neverland war.

Innovative gauge systems, an assortment of items to collect or craft, and deep strategy RPG gameplay combine to make Spectral Force 3 the game next-gen SRPG fans have been waiting for.

Satisfy your 360's hunger May 27th.

And although part of yesterdays announcements, here's a blatant boob post for Operation Darkness!

Mustache March (NVGR)
binny101 | 9:50 AM on 03.27.2008 9 comments

So here I sit, nearing the end of this epic journey. The current journey may be a questionable one, but it involves many elements of courage, dedication, and ridicule. Now I am not attempting to bash other who wears a 'stache' and are proud of it, but in my usual living of life, I have realized that most of this are quite un-cool. Other, such as mine which has been rocked since the early days of March, is what I prefer to call a "Pedo-Stache". I shall be providing pictures for everyone's amusement, and satisfaction because quite honestly, who doesn't want to see a patch of hair on somebody else's lip?

So to wrap this up, I was wondering if any other D-Toiders were cool enough to participate is this annual even of icktasticness.

Operation Darkness
binny101 | 2:25 PM on 03.25.2008 3 comments

Hot diggity I am uber stoked for this. Atlus + 360 = warmed heart!(New Atlus email is making me smile!)

What do you get when you combine World War II Germany, Nazis, vampires, zombies, and werewolves?

Well, you either get one heck of a Halloween party, or you get the awesome strategy RPG for Xbox 360®, Operation Darkness.

Take on Hitler and his occult legions as you battle to save the world from the jaws of oppression and tyranny!

Your campaign will take you into a variety of missions across Europe. Failure could mean the end of all things (There's a reason it's not called "Operation Lightness").

Has anyone told you that Operation Darkness has cooperative play for up to 4 people over Xbox LIVE?

I will destroy me some vampire Nazis! I hope everyone here gets this game, so that we can all play it online, and so that Atlus makes more games that I can fap over.

Secret of Evermore
binny101 | 10:54 AM on 03.25.2008 9 comments

Now nobody needs to tell me how much we got shafted with this instead of Seiken Densetsu 3, but when I played this originally, it was fun. I mean the story was weak, lack of multiplayer was just a terrible choice, but I remember enjoying it.

I started trying to play this again this weekend, and I realized why it is bad. It is way too hard. Lack of multiplayer therefore results in lack of reviving when you are dead. Secret of Mana was great for multiplayer because of the fact that you could die in the ever so epic battles, but then your teammates could simply bring you back with a Cup of Wishes.

So simply playing this game makes me want to play more Secret of Mana, and forget this difficult game. Maybe I'll play some Tetris too.

My setup, Part 1 - Computer Room
binny101 | 7:44 PM on 03.21.2008 11 comments

Well I figured that since so many other people are currently showing off their gaming
setups, I would join the excitement. Now, do not be too weary, but I have many pictures;
partially because I have a fair amount of stuff, and partially because I'm
bored/procrastinating from homework. I will also get to my actual system part of my
house some day, but here we go!

This is the computer and television that I use while in this room. I'm totally not sure
exactly what size either are since well, I don't care too much. They do what they need too
and that is good enough for me. I also have a PS2 connected to the TV somewhere on the
floor.

This is my Marvel Zombies collection, and Thor that are currently in my corner. I wish I
had a much better place to display the Zombies, but I'm very limited in my space situation.
Now on the wall next to those, I have two wall scrolls and a book shelf.

The bookshelf contains my mangas, and random books I have. I have all of the Dragon
Ball series, Dragon Ball Z, FLCL, Death Note, and other random series. The best part is
what is on top of this shelf though!

That is my Holy Ail beer, and first three collector editions of Death Note on DVD. I also
have a slightly awesome, while also being slightly creepy, Misa Amane Nenodroid. To the
right I also have another shelf with figurines...

That would be the current collection of FF7 Play Arts Figurines. For some stupid reason I
keep buying these damn things, but they look very fine.

This next shelf has my comics/trades/magazines that I have accumulate through the last
few years. This is also where the Fantastic Four, Namor, and Silver Surfer like to do there
shit. It's their shit place, their place of shit...

While on top, Doctor Doom parties with his homeboys. I also bought Lenore for some
reason.

Now this is all the stuff that is on top of my desk. That includes a Stephen King pop-up
book, Buddha, Persona 3 ladies, Kingdom Key along with Kingdom Hearts 2 characters,
and random Gundam Wing mechs.(Note amazing young Buckethead Poster)

Simply because I feel a need for more pictures, here are the comics that I purchased this
week!!

Now I hope everyone, including my mother, enjoyed this journey into my computer room.
When I get the energy to do this again, I'll do the room with all the systems. Ta-Ta
