thing is really that my current situation feels like one of these chinese torture instruments.
i have a dissertation to write and my funding ends december 08. if i keep up to it, ill make
it. however, im also currently semi-splitting with my girlfriend and waiting for another
woman who will arrive here in early may. that why were moving apart, too. i am not sure
what will happen. however, it is all complicated and im wondering whether i should get me
a ps3 when gta iv comes out. you know, a situation like this just screams "escapism", but
then again, you know that there will be no escaping from it unless youre the biggest
asshole on earth.
any suggestions, dear destructoid friends?

You've got another woman already lined up? What, did you trade your existing girlfriend in for a newer model and you're just waiting for the delivery guy to pick up your old one?!?
Frankly, whether you get a PS3 or not seems like the least of your worries. Although it would be pretty sweet.
