If you have an HDTV, go online and buy and HDMI cable ASAP. Online you can get them for like $5.
The cool part is streaming audio/video and copying it to your harddrive for anytime use.
Also, get a PSN name, also get game.
Despite what Sony used to be saying, the PS3 is indeed for games!! I'm not really sure which ones to recommend since so many are coming out now. Warhawk is a classic though. And definitely LittleBigPlanet when ever it comes out now.
You can add me if you want, PSN ID - CelicaCrazed.
Laugh at the people who were anticipating LBP.
Just kidding, don't hurt me.
Also try uh buying some games, there's a couple of cheap ones off of PSN that are worth your while.
Give it to me.
Don't plan on playing LBP. That'll get you nowhere.
Until November anyways.
I'll be having fun with Fable 2.
I went there.
folding@home is this[http://folding.stanford.edu/], but for PS3s.
Get MGS4/MGO, Warhawk, other games.
Or you could use it to keep paper from blowing around >.> ...
Take it out of the box and hook it up to your television.
Get everyday shooter if you don't already have it for PSP.
To explain Folding@Home a little better, it's a program created by Stanford University that simulates the folding of protiens. Basically you can set it to run in the background while you're not playing or while you're charging your controller and it'll cure cancer.
Yeah $5 HDMI cable FTW!
PSN name is also good...
Dead Space is amazing, Uncharted: Drakes Fortune is also worth a romp through, MGS4....
LBP coming out last week of October...so not a huge deal so you might want to look at that game to get.
Cheap HDMI cable.

PSN is CWal37, add me.
Also, while there may not seem to be as much stuff on the Playstation Store, I tend to feel that it is higher quantity of quality games.
Get MGS4 & Ratchet and Clank.. If you are browsing the PSN store you might wanna checkout Wipeout HD.
Get some games and lets play!
PSN: Primotapia
Go ahead and get yourself a copy of SOCOM: Confrontation. You will not be disapointed.
Play it maybe? Or you could put it up on a shelf and say it's a collector's item?
Damn, 13th beat me to it. I was gonna say "plug it in."
Get Pixel Junk Monsters, Wipeout HD, Everyday Shooter, and Super Stardust HD off of the PSN. GREAT games.
my PSN: Dan_CiTi
Don't make the same mistake I did, get some DAMN games.
Also, add me: Daxelman.
I love my username.
GAMES:
Pixel Junk Monsters
Eden
Flow
littlebigplanet (from ebay or the 75% of shops that have broke the release date)
TV:
If you have HDTV obviously buy HDMI lead and rent a Bluray movie of your choice. Then sit and tweak away at the settings on your TV and PS3 to calibrate it.
ACCOUNTS:
Also do not forget to make a USA, UK & Japanese profile accounts to have the best of the whole world in PSN Stores.
P.S. I hate the look of the PS3 as I just think "George Foreman Mean Lean Grilling Machine".... Mind you I also think my Xbox360 looks like cheap plastic crap too that fits in with nothing else.
Thanks, lol i've been playing CoD4, and yeah I didn't end up getting an hdmi cable since I just used hdmi adaptors with my DVI cable, since i already had them at home, i didn't think i need to spend, but I did buy an optical cable for my audio!
@XE-CUTE: How do you make different profiled accounts? Well I'll try to figure out, google here I come
