Also it's 4:21am Friday.. I have my HSC exam for english(it's like SATs but Australian) in a few hours.. haha well I'm screwed..

What is funny is the story that went up earlier today about the RRoDs as well as other issues.
And don't be upset about the PS3, there are tons of good games to play on it. And when others are playing Gears 2 (GoW is saved for God of War, young man)...you can be playing Resistance 2 and it has EIGHT player co-op. Gears can't touch that.

BTW, The only game I'm planning on getting for my 360 is Gears2. Maybe you should just go to a friends house to play it. Other than that, I just play Castle Crashers with my wife offline.
The PS3 has many good games begging you to play them.
Uncharted, Ratchet & Clank, Heavenly Sword, MGS4, Little Big Planet, Warhawk, Everyday Shooter, Pixeljunk: Eden, Calling All Cars (is freaking awesome 4p split screen!)
And you'll also get all the multiplatform games.
Yeah I mean the PS3 game collection isn't that bad, I was a big PS2 fan myself and I loved God of War! can't wait to give it a go again on the PS3.. and I still get CoD4 action :P
but question.. is the PS3 online gaming really that bad performance wise compared to XBL ?
Don't listen to Braindereailment....Heavenly Sword is NOT a good game begging yout o play it. Calling All Cars is...interesting. And Eden is NOT for everyone.
As for online gaming...the only difference is maybe less people and chattign online is interesting. Amazing online games like Condemned 2 doesn't support it (unless they fixed it) and UT3 requires a wierd button press to talk.
Believe me the PS3 isn't as bad as Microsoft lets on too.
& the game selection is JUST as good as 360's.
Minus the heart/hardware failure you've experienced already.

Yea...Gears 2 cant touch 8 player co-op....but Resistance sucks ass. Im not biased but its true. Its a generic shooter with alt fire like Perfect Dark. Ill take Gears 1 over Resistance 10 anyday...One of the best games of this generation.

resistance was a great great game i wish it had more jeep and themultiplayer of 40 was unheard of on consoles at the time making multiplayer a clucsterfuck of fuckwin also enjoy your newfound behemoth hopefully we'll see more of you around at FNF.
I wouldnt say that much about Gears. I never claimed Resistance was "innovative," it is just a good game. So you be the wrong.
BlindsideDork is right to call me out on that, sorry I should clarify. RENT Heavenly Sword, and try the demo for PJ:E to see if you like it. I freaking love it, and my wife was addicted to it for a bit.
As for Resistance, I played the living fuck out of the first one because that's all I had. I don't think R2 will get me to buy it at full price.
The only major difference you will notice with PSN over Live is the quantity of dickhead racists screaming "FAGGOT" into your ear, simply because everyone and their mother doesn't have a headset.

Yeah, Gears is that change that everyone is chiming about. Gears is the "Shadow of Colossus" of action games.
Uh what? I liked Gears of War a lot, but I thought that it was nothing special.
Yeah, Gears is fun and cool, but I don't think it really pushed any boundaries like SOTC did, whatever I don't care.

In all cerealness, The triple is a good system. Are you using the money from Ebay to buy the PS3, or to be done with it. Owning all 3 newgen systems doesn't limit your choices on what to buy. It sure makes the Fall quite painful on the pocket though.

If you get another 360... I recommend not putting games in places that block the ventilation for the console.

lol @ people saying/trolling gears did anything original. It took kill switch and gave it co-op, poor online, & a new coat of paint. Oh and don't forget, the best gimmick ever, CHAINSAWS ON GUNS!
Resistance is awesome because the health system(in R1) takes skill because it's not regen/shields, more of a combination of health & regen. I can't believe they went the CoD4/Halo 3/Gears 2 route with R2's health system. And the weapons are cool as fuck.
Gears of War was fun, but I can't understand anyone with a knowledge of shooters creaming themselves over it. Same with Halo 3.

@Pariah: yeah i already have a wii and its really either a ps3 or a 360 since they almost have the same game collection, but either way i won't be surprised to buy a 360 in due time :)

haha thanks for the input guys, and yes someone is coming to pick up my 360 today I sold it with extra accessories and etc for AU$400 seemed like a good deal to me.
I'll pick up my PS3 later today :)
@arresteddeveloper: it's a minor set back :P, im selling my old 360 hoping to get a new one with the newer hardware.. but i probably won't do that till early next year, and there is no way i'm going to box myself in a one console world :P
