Just a little update, so I was walking around waiting for my mother to finish doing her groceries so I can drop her home so I can go and finish off CoD4..

As I was walking I walked pass my local pawnbroker, I never really go into those places but I thought I might see something worth my time till my mother calls me back.. I walked to the console section and I thought I was daydreaming cause there it was a copy of GTAIV with a price tag of AU$35!!

It was too good to believe, I asked the guy why it was so cheap, and he said, "oh it's got a few scratches and fingerprints.." But being the excited guy that I am, I paid for it anyway.. When I got home I opened it and cleaned the disc, and whatdya know!! I'm glad he didn't know the pure toughness of blu-ray discs :P

The so called "scratches" were non existant after I had cleaned the disc itself. After cleaning the disc it seriously looked brand new, I popped it in and I now have a 100% working version of gtaiv.. I don't really know what to say but yeahh-

As most aussies will know, from New South Wales anyway.. that the HSC exams are currently going on. As for non-aussies it's much the same as SAT's or whatever final highschool exam you take before leaping into university and etc.

This is just a random off-topic post, Why should you care? I don't know, but I will post anyway :P

Well I've crossed the halfway line and I have 3 exams left and then I can finally say goodbye to 6 years of highschool! It would be such a joyous event seeing there are over 9000 good titles coming out soon! and I have all the time in the world to use up until I get my HSC marks/Uni offers back :)

Some people would know from previous post that my 360 is dead(dvd-drive+rrod) and that I just bought a PS3, and I have a long list of games to play, I need to catch up on Resistance, Folklore and etc.. while being hammered by the new games that are coming out :(

Okay, I better stop writing.. I feel my heart cringe in pain because the quality of this post is amazing *sarcasmo the clown*

1 more week! and I should be back on my gaming schedule, and now time to study some Chemistry... at least my gf is my private tutor.

So I just finished setting my PS3, and I must admit that I'm a sucker for good looking things, even if you say it was inferior, it looks great! all black and shiny.. It matches with my sound system and LCD hehe. >_<"

I've been trying to browse around the settings and also took time to browse the PSN Store and even though that there weren't as much content as XBL, I'm satisfied with it, everything runs so smooth and also the XMB and gah! the free themes! the simplicity of everything just ties everything in a sweet package. I don't mean to sound like mr nintendo 64 kid [http://au.youtube.com/watch?v=pFlcqWQVVuU]

But ahh I guess it's cause I haven't had a new gadget to tweak around in a while, and what the hell is folding@home! Right now I'm just on google, searching away for cool things I can do with my PS3, it's kind of been a ritual for me though, like every new gadget that I get I always take read the manual not for instructions but for the small things that I can do, I always need to know what capabilities my new toy has, Eh it's just the tech nerd that's inside of me.

Hey guys, well I thought I'd finally post a blog up, I don't know about what, but I think the death of my beloved 360 is a valid reason to write one up, well unlike some I thought I was one of the lucky ones who never had a single problem with their 360, everything perfectly in sync, no lag, no nothing... Until one morning I wake up wanting to stretch out with some CoD4, and there it was, the red ring of death has knocked upon my door...

So I got it sent and repaired and I got it back working again, *yays* and a few hours of playing I decided to give it a rest and go hang out with my mates, and ha! the next time I switched on my 360 it said it wouldn't read the disc, and I tried different discs, and what'd you know? the dvd drive failed. I feel that I have been ripped off by MS, I mean I would've wanted better compensation for all the hassles I had to go through.

After finally getting the dvd drive fixed at my local computer shop, I've made the decision to say goodbye to my 360 days, and I put up my 360 along with my games collection on eBay. I was sort of relieved that I didn't have to handle with it anymore, but deep inside I'm hurting since I was so god damn excited to play GoW2.

It's sad but recently I've decided to switch sides, and get myself my own black juggernaut, I know that the game collection might not be as good as the 360 but to be honest I feel happy that I'm actually going to get a PS3. In a few hours I'm going to finalize the eBay auction, and get the 360 shipped off and let some other guy feel my pain :P
