Hmmmm...
If you're running out of good freeware games to tell us about, why not start a series about bad ones? It would interesting to say the least, and since they would be free no one can really complain.

Excellent crop of games as usual, bbain; excellent blog. I'll be sure to give these a try once I've beaten my high score on Mirror's Edge's time trials.
@Wolfy: Haha, that's an interesting idea. I'll consider that option, since there are plenty of games that I could write about.
@Lord Death: Now I want to play Mirror's Edge again :P

I wouldn't recommend it. I've convinced myself that I'm actually pretty good at the game, and I've spent three weeks of exam leave constantly playing the time trials over and over again.
bb, you do me proud.
Is bb okay? And I don't just mean as a nickname, but as a typeset. BB, maybe? Hm.

Woah, they all look so neat! OH GOD , NOT THE SCARF, haha xD I haven't even finished the last batch and you're bringing me more? This is madness :)
I fully support this series. If nothing else, I now want to go find the soundtrack for Escape from the Underworld.
@bbain
I don't mean to come off as pushy (which I undoubtedly am), but have you tried any of Yahtzee Croshaw's games yet? Those definitely warrant a mention, as do Dungeoneer and A House in California. If you're running out of recommendations you could always branch into browser games, because I have a HUGE list of browser games I could recommend. (I really do sound pushy, huh)
As always, great work and thank you

@Omegas Squared: I tried playing a few of the Chzo Mythos games, but I guess I'm just not a huge fan of the point-and-click adventure genre. I can never figure out what you're supposed to do and I get frustrated very quickly. I did watch Stephanie K play a few of them on the live stream she did a few days ago though. 7 Days a Skeptic was my favorite one to watch.
Also, I was considering doing a list of browser games as well but I haven't played too many yet. There are a few that I've found that are quite awesome though that I would like to talk about at some point.

Yeah, I understand if the Chzo Mythos aren't your thing, although it's funny you liked 7 Days a Skeptic because that's generally considered the worst of the series, but it's my favorite one. You should try 1213, though, it may be buy the same guy, but it's not a point and click adventure game, its more a metroidvania style game with a deceptively good story.
As for browser games, just let me know if you want some recommendations, but I'm gonna tell you right now, if you haven't played Coma, play it. That's one of my favorite games of all time, out of all video games, not just browser games.
