++Good Games is newspeak for 'games worthy of merit and discussion.'
We are a group of gamers that range in age from 25 years to 50 years old that have grown tired of being told that Madden is worth playing or that multiplayer needs to be added to every game in order to justify its existence.
If you like classic games like M.U.L.E., Archon, Jet Set Radio, Ico, Panzer Dragoon Orta, Shadow of the Colossus and the like, ++Good Games may be right up your alley.
While I know that everyone is anxiously sitting by their door waiting for Microsoft to ship out their new Xbox 360 slim bundled with the Kinect for all of the red ringed systems we've owned...anyone?...anyone? How about this guy who has been waiting for his 360 since 2006?
Well, while we are all waiting, I thought I'd take a moment to investigate how my living room would need to be set up to house the upcoming motion-sensing-monolith. This recent Major Nelson minute puts together a preparedness-list of what users should be considering for optimal Kinect-ocity.
This is a list reads like the warnings on Happy Fun Ball. Thank goodness we have a month to sell the coffee table on Craigslist, rearrange my furniture, even out the light in the room, sound proof my 360 and cut the vocal chords of all my roommates.
