For Assassin's Creed 2, ask if the achievements will be mopre varied other than doing the collect - thon flags and find the templars. Also if there will be more creative ways to hide, or ways to kill(like using the environment). As for Splinter Cell Conviction, will it be more action based like in the vein of MGS 4?
Why are none of these games Beyond Good & Evil 2?
Ask them if they took any notes while playing Arkham Asylum, because that game was fucking amazing... and sort of similar to both AC & Splinter Cell.
Will you be coming to the Western part of Canada to enjoy some hospitality from Dtoid Calgary? . . . which I just made up! ^_^
Lauren ask them hpv's question...PLEASE.
Yep, agree with jimbo and hpv, where is my BG&E2.
I am practically shitting brix
PROTIP: Make sure you don't do that during the interview. They frown on that kind of thing.
Um... questions... well, there is the one wondering about the status of their Toronto offices, but as for ones relating to their games... I am wondering about whether or not really annoying beggars and drunks (or an equivalent) will be present in AC2. They were not fun at all. :(
I'll try to think up some more.
Can ASS 2 just deal with the historical part of it? No more current day situations to bore people to death.
Can we finally put the repetitiveness behind us? You guys have to had known that the first ASS was just the same damn thing over and over again.
Honestly, did Avatar make you cream in your pants or just give you a slight chubby? Did you buy into Cameron's claims about how 3-d is the WAVE OF THE FUTURE??
The third question is more of a Michael Ironside love question
Richter from Total Recall or Homeless Sam Fisher
AC2wise, how have they gone about the cutscenes this time around? In the trailers, it seems to have taken a more actual-cutscene approach, unlike AC1 where they were slightly unique. And, of course, why did they make any changes if they did?
Splinter Cellwise, how have they improved on the AI and general 'walking' stealth part of the game that was somewhat...lacking in Double Agent? I mean, I appreciate the climbing pipes and darting around we've seen, but walking/crawling around are still pretty big parts of stealth.
Aw everytihng i wanted to ask has been asked, well ask them why old people smell of piss and TCP.
Does anyone think putting Leonardo da Vinci in the game was a bit much?
Also good luck.
I'm actually pretty close to their Vancouver office... but I assume you're going to their Montreal head office??
I guess an obvious question is why did they choose to make Splinter Cell:Conviction exclusive to the 360, and are there any further details on multiplayer? (including co-op?)
About Splinter Cell: Convinction, ask them if the game is replayable? It seems, from the few videos I've seen, the AI is heavily scripted and while there may be multiple ways around many parts in the game, the game just seems that it'll lose it's magic on a second play-through. Also, ask them in there are any limits on the mark-and-execute and sonic goggles, because they seem kind of overpowered and abuseable.
Thanks for doing this by the way!
With a little preparation, interviews are a breeze. All you need is a general idea of what information you want to get out of it, ask questions and steer the conversation to those answers and make them talk... kind of like convincing children to get into your car so you can rape them so you'll be fine :-D
As for questions..... Ask why they had to have the event on Eurogamer weekend and if they know that Dtoid UK thinks they are now ghey. Also, how is Avatar different to/better than Lost Planet 2?
also on splinter cell: Can you ask them if someone unfamiliar with the splinter cell story can jump right into conviction? I don't really want to replay the shit ones :S
Will you have multiplayer on SC:conviction much like SC:DA? cause it rocked!
