VIDEO TAKEN DOWN, GO HERE FOR NEW FOOTAGE
Up before the E3 footage tomorrow, and up before the debut trailer on spike TV. Gametrailers presents the first public look at Tomb Raider Underworld.

While short and sweet we get an interesting look at how Lara's new look and actions take place in Underworld. While the 'slow motion' scene seemed a little odd I am really happy with the way Lara is now motion captured! Finally. Anyway, enjoy the new Lara and expect a huge post from me with tomorrows full E3 Tomb Raider coverage!

If they have taken it down then a replacement is here.

wow that looks sweet and the standing oin the swing bar shows they have at least thought about improving the platforming rather than just sticking to the old formula, and adding new enviros and story to the game.

Ah how handy, the oblivious octopus has positioned itself directly under a spiky thing which drops.

Also, guns don't work underwater. I'm a Tomb Raider fan but this looks like junk. Way too early to tell though, I'm sure they'll do a decent job considering the last two releases.

The Graphics don't look as updated as they probably should, though they have the 7th gen darkness down pat.

Otherwise, shooting things, and raiding dark places, seems like a good time all around :)

@Morrius This is just a preview the developers have said your pistols are very useless underwater and you have the appropriate weaponry for underwater battles.

Love how they steer clear of sterettyping females by showing a nice view of her arse as the first piece of non-underwater footage.

Poor girl needs some shoes on with all that straddling rusty pole action.

Looks like Tomb Raider, but can it match Uncharted?

Green Peace will be on to this one in a flash soon though. Maybe the youth of today should get influenced into trying to kill sharks so they can all get eaten.

wow, jumping from pillar to pillar, I remember doing that 7 years ago.

also wow, turning 3 different objects to match up, how innovative. Here's hoping they include valve turning, lever pulling and, my favorite, "push the object on to the button" puzzles; no way am I sick of those.

tripple wow, Lara wears a bikini. Surely they aren't trying to cover up horribly boring and out of date game design with sexual references. What? The Tomb Raider franchise? Never!

I wonder if I will get to verse wolves, wild cats, bears and gorillas.

@Skribble, that's not a bikini, its a one piece swimming costume. But yeah, I've never got along with tomb raider, personally it's essentially the dog that's had it's day and I see from the use of a sticking out pole you can swing round as proof for not being able to teach a dog new tricks.
