Just trying to gauge interest here, so bullet points:

The Premise:
- Thursday Nights (or some other night without other dtoid events)
- Online gaming with dtoiders
- Free, fun games, without big ass system requirements, so everyone can get in on it
- I'll set up a teamspeak/vent/xfire/whatever server for the ridiculous chat that makes dtoid game nights so fun

Potential games:
- Warsow?
- Trackmania Nations?
- Original Savage?
- America's Army 2.6?
- F.E.A.R. Combat?
- Ad supported far cry?
- Gunz Online?
- Whatever you want?

So just trying to gauge interest, would this be something I should bother starting up?
Would you play?
Any ideas?

i think it is a great thought.....but i dont own any pc games....only 360. although i am looking for a 360 wired GH2 guitar to play in http://fretsonfire.sourceforge.net/. that would rock since its all open source and can import GH2 songs in....finding a wired guitar like the PS2 or first 360 ones would work....because the whole deal is free. once I can find a GH2 controller reasonably priced....I'd kick this off.

How about True Combat: Elite (http://www.truecombatelite.net)

Its a great mod for a free game (Enemy Territory). It does not need a high end gaming pc. I run medium settings on a pretty low spec machine. Also, it runs on Windows and Linux.

Or you could just opt for Enemy Territory by it self.

My PC is in sad, sad shape for any gaming. Always down for some DToid action on XBox Live, though. Still haven't had the pleasure of playing with others on Burnout Paradise yet.
