Yes the famous endless
countdown has actually... ended! It ends on a rather flat note too, All that is currently up on Kojima's "E3 2009 SPECIAL SITE" is a crummy looking wall that has a picture of metal gear solid rising and a link to the mask website on it. The only hints that I can see are flowers, a bit of grain (most likely from the field) , cut marks on the wall, and the word "RESISTANCE" painted on it.

IS KOJIMA TEAMING UP WITH INSOMNIAC TO MAKE A ZEN GAME ABOUT WOLVERINE. Yes.

But in all seriousness, those cuts most likely have to do with Raiden (or Vamp) and the flowers with ending the rain, and "RESISTANCE"... I don't know. However It looks like there's quite a bit of space left on the wall and it lets you slide to the right a bit. Perhaps Kojima has something up his sleeve for the Sony press conference, we'll just have to wait and see.
