Wow. That sounds awful. I haven't shopped at an EB Games/Gamestop in like 4 years and I'm proud of it.
Sorry, dude.
That's why the first thing I do when I buy a used game is test it out before the return window expires.
OH shit. That's dirty. Reason number 304 of why I hate Gamestop
Buying anything used online is stepping into bad territory in the first place. Still, you'd think Gamestop would avoid things like this.
Tough luck, man.
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
Wow, that's horrible. Gamestop is teh suxors.
I suppose i was a fool to think i was getting a "good deal".
And I in the minority of never having a problem with gamestop
WAT.
That's fucking retarded.
You need to hear this. (not a rickroll.)

@covah yes, yes you are.
Thank you, adultswim810 (810? Area code?). You've just put the icing on my "Open Letter to GameStop".
You didn't even open the games when you got them? That's the first thing I do when I buy a game if I didn't see the guy put the game in myself.
I'd at least cheack if your GS or other used/new-ish game stores even have the games, before you order online.
This has actually happened to me on more than one occasion.
@maximuspaynicus
wut?
It happens. You should know that when ordering a used game online.
It has never happened to me when using Ebay. I have bought a few used games off of ebay that were listed in mint condition but used. Every game I got off of ebay was as described~
From blockbuster I got a used games in there 2 for 14.99 sale. The 360 game was a little bit miffed because people don't treat things properly. It worked though from beggining to end~
From gamestop I almost got a used game and saw how scratched the disc was. Promptly said I don't want this, got my refund somehow and walked out.
I always go into the store to shop used, the guys at EB Games let me look at the disc before purchasing it.
I usually shop used at a local store, though. I've bought twelve games from them and each time they come in fantastic condition and even come with manuals and even the promotional advertising pieces.
@adultswim810
I was asking if the 810 in your name was for your area code.
I'm with covah. Never had any major problems with Gamestop.
But then again you're talking about Gamestop.com. I guess that's a whole different deal.
uh seriously dude...if you're going to buy used games from anywhere, stick to Ebay/Amazon. It's bad enough Gamestop/EB Games forget to put the discs inside the case in store. What makes their online store any more reliable?
I go ebay for all my used game purchases and it hasn't let me down yet. Bought Ico and MGS4 recently and both were in great shape (the Ico disc was pretty much mint).
my gamecube is broken... it got hit by lightning
also the 810 isn't my area code lol
also i chose gamestop over ebay due to savings on shipping
Same thing happen to me, I ordered Killer 7 for the Cube and when it arrived I only had the first disc of the two-disc series. I'm now waiting on a replacement to get here.
Im curious... how much did they bend over backwards to help you?
I can tell you from experience, that GameStop HQ has some of the worst employees ever. We get shipment from the warehouse that are so fucked up, it's hard to imagine they check the shit before they ship it. And don't even get me started with the marketing department.
I usually have no problem with used games. When buying from Ebay if people mislabel things or try to rip you off there's usually a process to go through to get your money back so there doesn't seem to be so much trouble there. My local game store is pretty hot on checking discs and the one occasion where I did get a duff they exchanged it no hassle (I think the few bad discs they have are probably emplyoees swapping them :P).
That said I'm still always paranoid because of stories just like this, bad luck dude :(
This is impossible. They're Guaranteed to Play™! It says so right there on the website!
But seriously- despite your misfortune, I am really jealous of you because you're about to play all those games for the first time!
ima return to the store in my town... I have no idea how i can get them to believe me though
