No, we just expect more than "I hope this is good." Tell me why you're doubting it, why you think it looks crappy, and I'll give you my opinion too.
Other than that, you make baby jesus cry and global warming happen.

We can only hope for the best. the last iteration that treyarch was responsable for, they only had 9 months to complete. They have 2 years this time. 1upyours podcast hinted at burning eyes out with cigarettes and slashing throats. That seems mildly enertaining I suppose.
yeah i know i know i suck at blogs... i cant ever think of anything to write. but i just wanted to show you guys this.
I'm not completely blown away, but we'll have to see. This game is pretty much destined to disappoint, though, given the incredible success of COD4. There is so much to live up to. And is it me, or does the first dude look a bit like Sgt. Johnson from Halo?

...you can still edit your blog. The screenshots look pretty good, but I'm not going to judge it until I see some gameplay footage.
Yeah. It's confirmed that they're using the CoD4 engine. That, and the fact that they had 2 years to work on this one (as opposed to the 1 year they had on CoD3) gives me some hope. I am glad they're not calling it CoD5 though.
It looks better than I was expecting. I've thought that the Pacific theater needs a good video game adaptation. I never played the MoH games that took place in the Pacific theater, but I heard they were pretty average. I would like this game to do well.
If they keep that flame-thrower in there, add some vehicles and destructible environments...I'll look into it.
Until then, I'm enjoying BF:BC more than COD4.

Going back to WWII...AGAIN. So very original. If they wanted a pacific-style look, could they not have based the conflict on Vietnam, or the Korean War or something that the Call of Duty series hasn't already flogged to death? (by which I mean already exhausted...not that they were particularly bad games in themselves). I've sen enough WWII stuff to last me a lifetime, and unless there is something else about the game that grabs me by the balls and stamps on them, then I won't be buying it.
I agree with what Blehman said.
Though, to be fair, the guys that are developing this game get a bad rep and they really don't deserve it. They had about a year to make Call of Duty 3 and it wasn't a bad game, really. It was just too much of the same and was missing a bit of that cinematic pazzaz.
This time they've got more time to make this game so their slate is clean. People also keep shooting down the WWII setting, but how many times have JRPG gamers been playing in the same fantasy land? Or FPS gamers with their sci-fi future. Hopefully the game is fun enough so that the setting doesn't matter.

lul sword! hopefully it will work better then the horrible knife in COD4. if i could count how many times i run up to a guy and do the FULL knife animation into his back only to have to stand there waiting for it to be done to ATTEMPT a backstab again..."im bumping around him game i CAN'T get any closer."
"whats this i can't walk backwards?" *turnaround* *shoot* *I die*
