Yes you read my title correctly, Assassin's Creed for PC has been leaked more than a month before scheduled release. It's being hosted on most popular torrent sites and it is confirmed working. IMO Ubisoft really f*cked up here. Anyways I'm not advocating piracy here, so if you want to download it, you can, if not then whatever, i just wanted to highlight this early leak, and inform the d-toid community about it.

(BTW this is my first blog)

Okay, it's pretty much confirmed to work, loder put it up. He's the Axxo of gaming basically.

Nice find, downloading now. Wasn't gonna buy it anyway, at least I get a sort of demo that might change that view.
yea it works but theres some weird stuttering issues somewhat like GOW pc but longer and less frequent. like 60 fps for 5 minutes then FREEZE for like 30 seconds
Wasn't this on the front page a while back?
i didnt see it
Considering the specs they put out for it, I'm sure it runs like ass. Not that I want to play it anyways.
Download that shit. I paid near full price for it and felt raped. It's a great game in so many ways, yes a shitty game in many other, more significant ways. It is worth 0$. That is all.
wedge, yes the specs were completely ridiculous but the reason why i referenced GOW PC is because no matter what specs you had, it stuttered. people with sli'ed ultras would stutter.
I would buy it and play it if the system specs weren't so damn high from what I hear. It's one of the few games other than the PC version of Guitar Hero 3 that would kill my system. Just for my info though, what are the specs?
A friend of mine downloaded it, so i grabbed it of him... as much as i hate to say it, Grayfox is right. Great in some ways, terrible in others. Might be worth a buy if its bargain bin, but not worth full price at all.

That being said, if anyone cares, it runs absolutely fine on a q6600 processor, 2gb ram,and 8800gts... as you'd hope.
Coincidentally, yo momma also runs fine on a q6600 processor with 2gb ram and 8800gts. Very fine.
yo mama runs fine on my dik, b1tch.
Time to see if this game is worth purchasing.
I'm really not interested in buying or pirating it. Despite having graphics much worse than Crysis, it somehow demands a superpowerful processor, which I do not have. Why does a game that runs fine on a 360 have such insane requirements for PC?
@Mr. Sadistic: lol

I thought Assassin's creed was an alright game. No Prince of Persia, but still a good game.

I guess the reason I don't feel butthurt for buying it is because I borrowed my friend's xbox and played through it in about a week 8)
I heard it was released earlier in france, ubisoft being a french company. So perhaps not a leak at all, but I cannot confirm this.
How exactly did Ubisoft fuck up?

Software leaks usually come at the replication plant. If this is the final build of the game, someone probably walked off with the build at the plant.

I don't understand how it's anymore Ubisoft's fault than it is yours or mine.
@adultswim810:
Never had any problems with Gears of War on my PC. Always 60 fps with vsync.

And dvddesign is right.

And Ubisoft doesn't even care for protection anymore, such is the case of Lost Via Domus, that doesn't need key, nor Securom, nor the CD present on tray.
Wait, when you said f*ck did you mean fuck?
Sweet, this'll tide me over to the retail release, where y'know they'll hopefully fix any stutter issues.
Also, I'm all for getting shit early, but support the devs.
well i didnt know that dvddesign, but i sure hope this isnt the final version with the insane stuttering ive gotten
Dude, if Gears of War AND Assassin's Creed stutters on YOUR computer, then you have an hardware problem. Or you're just trying to run the game at specs higher than your machine can handle.
no... ill list my specs
8800gts 640mb
2.8ghz dual core amd cpu /w 2mb l2 cache
2gb 800mhz ram
xp 32bit
look on epic forums TONS of people get stuttering, also it happens on any settings, also those are the only games that do it

Wow, sorry for the double post, don't know what happened there.
AH! Got a lower machine and didn't have any problems above the recommended settings.
it only happens on some setups, its a pretty weird thing.
