If you are anything like me you have been looking forward to Gears 2 since that crappy cliffhanger at the end of the original Gears. I myself have been waiting eagerly for each new tidbit of information to trickle onto the internets. And when I heard there was going to be a gameplay video of Gears 2 on the 360 version of UT3 I got really excited. It made me want UT3 even more so than I already did. Skip forward to last night when I spied the above title in my wikio videogames gadget at the side of my screen. You can probably guess that I immediately clicked on that link.

The gameplay video is mostly the same information that we have already seen in previous Gears videos and in magazines but there are some new tidbits that I found really interesting the two main ones being:

1. Bullets actually slow people down now, which means it is now less likely that somebody you fired so many Lancer bullets into will get away.

2. grenades have more pizaz this time around. They can actually knock people around which makes the smoke grenades so much more useful.

You also get a glimpse of one of the new levels. Unfortunately it looks very similar to one of the previous Gears levels, Garden. this map being security. Fortunately, it has these sweet new laser turrets to differentiate themselves from gardens. Think the Troika but more badass.
