If you haven't noticed I haven't been on Destructoid for quite some time. This isn't because I have abandoned you Destructoid, no, this has everything to do with a little thing called incompetence.

You see, a little over a week ago I switched dorm rooms. I won't go into the details on why I did it, although I bet people in Irc and those who play with me over XBL could take a stab at it. The thing is, when I got into the new room I was unable to connect to the internet. I learned that this was because I wasn't signed into the room yet and I had to check in with a few offices. And over the course of 12 days I have been struggling with them to get something in my room that should be a goddamn necessity.

Originally I thought it was my school's fault, and I guess it sort of is for making the whole procedure needlessly complicated, but a couple of days ago I learned the dumbfuck who I switched rooms with didn't even sign out of the room or sign into his new one and basically did everything illegally which was fucking up my school's system. However, the whole situation is sorted out now and I should have internet by tonight at the earliest or friday at the latest.

The reason I am posting all this is just to assure everybody that I am still around, I just have been unable to get on Destructoid because of this and to explain why I didn't do my 10 things post last week. Chances are I won't be able to do one this week either and I just want to say to those that care that I will make this up to you somehow. Maybe a 30 things I learned these past 3 weeks? And Juggsy, Blehman, Zeke, and everybody else I play L4D with; I will be back in on the action very soon I swear. And now you won't have to worry about me quitting prematurely or worrying about my headset picking up the latest episode of Desperate Housewives that my old roommate would insist on watching in our room.

I never realized how much a stress reliever Destructoid was for me before but now that I haven't had it all the shit that has been happening has seemed so much worse.

Anyway, here's hoping that I will be back to yelling at Vexed Alex and writing my crazy ramblings very soon.
