10 things I learned this week: Higher res wallpaper Edition
aborto thefetus | 9:02 AM on 07.11.2008 8 comments

When I put this up last week a lot of people said they wanted it in a higher resolution, so here it is. The reason why it was so crappy last time was because I uploaded it to photobucket and then copy pasted it into paint and then uploaded it to Destructoid. Why I didn't just upload it onto Destructoid from the computer I made it on I don't know. It would have made much more sense to do so and the resolution wouldn't have been that bad. Either way I did that this time around and it looks so much better as a result.

Also, no 10 things next week. I'm leaving next Friday for California and I'll be getting ready for the trip next week. That, and I won't be able to post it on Friday. For that matter, it is very unlikey I will be able to do it the following week either.

Anyway.......

1. Yojimbo is a goddamn copycat!

2. Batman Beyond has an awesome theme song. I just downloaded the entire first season off XBL.

Don't ask me why, I'm not exactly sure why. I guess it has to do with the fact that I just read Dark Knight Strikes Again (again), and I couldn't find a copy of Batman: Gotham Knight.

speaking of which.....

3. I miss when T.V. used to be good.

4. UT3 is super sexy. It's unfortunate I am probably the only Dtoider that has it for 360.

5. Unstoppable Juggernaut is very good at making custom figures. His custom War Machine is all mine now because I am awesome.

6. Snaileb really wants the SDCC exclusive Carmine Gears of War action figure. Well, I'll make sure to shove mine in his face when I get mine. HAHA!

I'm sorry Snaileb, if it was something I didn't want I would have gotten it for you, but it is something I want and they don't allow you to buy two.

7. Podtoid is lost without the Rev.

8. Apparently my wallpaper will make a great shirt.

9. Blehman likes his RPG characters.

10. Retroforce is back! HOORAY!!!

Is this post awesome? Vote it up!

Damn man....Thats harsh with the Carmine lol. You shoulda had some random dude buy one for you...like a 15 year old trying to buy some MD 20/20 at the corner store...

I should be getting UT3(60) from Gamefly today. Do the controls adapt well to it?
aborto thefetus's Destructoid Blog
I would say they do Covah. It controls pretty damn well even though switching between weapons when you have a lot of them is a pain in the ass.

If you make it a shirt (which you totally should) don't Cot it off on the edges, let the little black things go all over the shirt.

Thats good, I was worried just because of the frantic twitchyness the game involves that it might not be as fun to play with the controller. It just seems like one of those PC FPS that wouldn't adapt well to a console like TF2 (in my opinion)

Hey Aborto, Is the 360 UT3 worth it, or should I get it for the PS3, even though I hate the PS3 controller
