Don't really have anything to say so here we go.....
1. The english dubbing for Blazblue is absolutely terrible. For the most part I have been able to tolerate bad voice acting in japanese games over the years but this reaches an all new low. I changed the language settings after playing the game for 5 minutes that is how bad it was.
2. Hakumen is a douchebag
3. Taokaka is one of my new favorite fighting game characters. I love playing with really fast characters with plenty of dash moves, and there she has somewhere around 6 dash moves and two of the cheapest attacks in the game.
4. Bang has the best supers. Ever.
5. Star Wars episode 2 is really bad. I have always known the first 3 movies were bad but I never realized exactly how bad the second one was until I started watching the movies again on Spike. 3 at least had General Grievous to make up for its baby killing nonsense, there is no upside to the bullshit in 2.
Now that I think about it, why did I torture myself with watching those movies?
6. People believe that the Atheistium fan thread is now more disturbing then the HAWP thread. Personally, I don't agree with this because most of the people in the Aitheistium are being creepy on purpose. That isn't always the case in the HAWP threads.
7. Today's FNF is going to be a very lame one.
8. The latest trailer for Darksiders is absolutely amazing. If it wasn't for the rather crappy build I played at last years comic con then I would be really excited for this game.
9. People are petitioning again over vidjagames again. This time over the lack of LAN in Starcraft. I never really used LAN in games so I can't say really say this affects me too much.
10. My secret project has turned out perfectly. I have been making a little something for PAX and Comic Con and it is finally completed. Don't worry, I won't leave you in the dark. I intend to show everyone my handiwork very soon.
I absolutely despise Hakumen. Maybe it was the vicodin, but yesterday I was unable to beat either my 8 or 10 year old brother when they played as him. I could always take it to the last match with Noel, then they'd hit me once and I lose the amount of health it took me 20 hits to take from them. Could have beaten them with Rachel a few times but kept trying to finish them with my Astral. So yeah, Hakumen totally sucks. It's annoying how attacks don't really throw him off balance and he can continue to rape you through a barrage of hits, then again, I probably just suck.
Hakumen is a total douchebagasaures! Motherfucker takes half your life with three hits. Then when you beat him, the real final boss half the time, Nu, is easy as shit.
Played it for an hour last night with a buddy of mine. Went something like this: "Rebel 1. Fight. Counter. Counter. Counter. Counter. Counter. Counter. Counter... etc."
I haven't looked to closely, but I dearly hope that there's a way to turn that off.
Usually dubbing for fighting games is pretty shitty. I had to do this for SFIV, and I'm not one of those weeaboo types who gets all wet for Japanese. I'd just rather not understand what they were saying. It was that bad.
