After spending some long awaited time with four new maps for Call Of Duty 4, I have some observations and impressions about the four shiny new additions to COD4's already long roster of battlefields.
Creek
This one felt too small for what it wants, and enemies were generally hard to see. I can imagine this map going the way of "Overgrown" for me; where I disliked it at first but came to love it. Overall a solid map, and a sniper's heaven.
Broadcast
Ripped straight from a mission in COD4's spectacular campaign, Broadcast feels a little too big. A good map, featuring an immensely detailed interior building, a large parking lot outside of it,
and a yard beyond that with a small, two storied house. While most of the action took place inside, some of the firefights that took place on the roof, which has a gaping hole just asking to be jumped through, were incredibly fun, particularly in Search and Destroy.
Chinatown
I am a little confused by Chinatown. Almost every preview of this map said it was the best, and most worthwhile map of the bunch. I have to disagree. This map didn't feel all that special, with many underground tunnels and buildings surrounded by empty streets, this map feels kind of empty.
Killhouse
The best of the four. Seeming like it was ripped from a user created map from Halo 3's foundry, Killhouse is a very small, very open, almost paint ball style map. Imagine the hangar from "Vacant", maximized, with miniature forts and ramps, complete with holes in the roof for air strikes. A fantastic map.
All in all 2 good maps, 1 meh map and 1 more favorite map to my already favorite online game. This map pack is worth the buy, hands down.

p.s. Ignore first 5 comments, they were posted before I knew how to hide unfinished posts.
I saw a guy taking aim for me in my scope and in a reaction I just pulled the trigger and was able to headshot him ( without steadying my gun ) before he could get a shot of... that was brilliant!
