I make stuff using pixels, Game Boys and ancient spirit magick. I like to write about videogames, art, airships, bleeps, bloops and other swell things. I think we're going to get along just fine.

Videogame arrangement artist Sakamoto is living proof of this: His latest work, a medley of SNES music running the gamut from F-Zero to Chrono Trigger to Ogre Battle, is guaranteed to melt your face. All you Europeans are in for a treat in the coming weeks: An all-star crew of New York chipmusicians will be joining their accent-having counterparts to plow a path of pixelated destruction across your beloved continent. This past weekend, the U.K. was treated to live sets from Nullsleep, Starscream, Jellica, Syphus, Minusbaby, KezzieBeat and much more at Bleep London. Nerdapalooza, a music festival devoted to nerd music of all flavors also transpired this weekend in sweaty Orlando, Florida. Run by the enthusiastic HexWarrior, the festival featured sets by MC Frontalot, YT Cracker, MC Lars, Beefy, MC Chris, I Fight Dragons, The Protomen and much more. Here's video of my good pal and bandmate Shael Riley reuniting with his online collab band, The Grammar Club to play together on stage for the first time:
Nonfinite! Yes! Might finally have to take the dive into LSDJ. Also, is there going to be a Blip Fest in the US this year? Been thinking about taking a trip to NY.
